| At one point and time, I was a big supporter of the Fred/Daphne pairing. I used to write and illustrate it all the time. But then, one day came where I wanted to create a new, fresh twist. Born in Limerick, Ireland, Mike meets Daphne at the studios where her TV show is filmed. Eventually, they start up a relationship. But he's no "Gary Stu" either.
