I love Sleepy Hollow! It's my favorite movie! Chris Walken makes a great Headless Horseman, and Ray Park did an excellent job bringing him to life. But I noticed few people mention Rob Inch, who rode the magnificent steed Daredevil. (I am a big horse over and the official movie site says the horse who played Daredevil was spanish and imported directly from Spain - probably Andalusian. I now spend my days daydreaming about fiery black andalusian stallions. One day I'll track down his owner and get a on by him that is the living likeness.) But I have always been enthralled with the story of Sleepy Hollow since I saw the Disney cartoon (haven't we all?) and in the summer when my sister told me she saw a preview for it I didn't believe her. I thought it was one of those too-good-to-be-true t ings but fortunately it wasn't. Indeed, it was a fantastic movie and I can't wait till it comes out on video (I hope to own a DVD by then though!).

December 20,1999 I feel I have a personal connection to the Hessian. You see my family from my mother's stims from Hessian Germany. A small part of Western Germany called Hesse. My great, great, great well he's really great.. grandfather came over to America as a mercen ry during the Revoloutinary war. He was one of the Hessian fighters that have been convianiantly written out of American history. We also have family in Sleepy Hollow, New York so I have another aspect of my life connected to this story. The Hessian of th legend was a fine warrior and strong man. I admire him immensely and I wish I had the power to bring him back to life. People who have read the Legend of Sleepy Hollow look at it and say ' Oh, that's a nice fire side tale.' But in today's society we tend to forget... All legends have a root, all legends start somewhere. This site is cool!! Even though the horseman was baaaad I still thought he was awesome. The way he swung his sword, with such skill and passion, the sound of his horse nearing the silly people who wandered aimlessly through the forest at night.Now I call HAT intimadating!! Also, he got rid of ::shudder:: BROM. And ::shudder:: Lady Van Tassel, even if he did have a bit of a crush on her. Besides, just LOOK AT HIS EYES!!! They could freeze hell over.
