We got Phoebe in 2003 after the loss of our dear Minky. Phoebe was just stunning in every way and brought light and laughter into the shed after such a dark time. Her antics proved a lot to handle in the first months, as she would never settle into a cuddle without squealing blue murder! Eventually she settled down into the sweetest, most placid little sprout we've seen. Phoebe has given me three years of loyal companionship and for this I thank her.
On December 4th 2006 we said goodbye to our little buff princess. She had a huge abcess through her nasal canal which had been putting pressure on her left eye and on her top incisors. We lanced and drained the abcess as much as we could and hoped for a recovery. Unfortunately the cavity filled and started to put pressure on her eye again. Her top left incisor rotted out and she had great difficulty eating. There was very little we could do for her, and we felt it unfair to keep her going as she'd also lost a lot of weight.
Such a cheekie face, but so gentle. She was such a kind and peaceful soul, brought to life by those huge sparkling eyes. Her bright personality and loving nature will never be forgotton or replaced. Goodnight dear Phoebe.
