Ballin' A$$ Dame Presents - Streets of Sacramento
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. Gangsta brings some heat right away. He spits some nice lyrics and his style is perfect. The beat is alright and I like the production by Dre himself. It's a pretty short track though, which is my only problem with it. A clean track to start the album off with.

  2. Just like any other Big Hollis beat. I've heard this same type of production a thousand times it seems like. Doulbe O Smebb starts it off with a clean verse. He has a laid back type of flow to him. Young Ridah comes next and rips up the mic. I don't really like his style too much, but he does spit some clean lyrics and he comes hard on the mic. They just rep Highside the whole way through the track. A coo track overall.

  3. A Bo Leggs solo track. I like his style throughout the track and he has some nice lyrics. The production by LoKei is pretty good, but it's nothing special. A slower pace to this track, but Bo Leggs still has nice vocals throughout it. A coo track overall.

  4. Another Hollis produced track. This beat is a little better, but it's still the same type of shit I've heard a million times. Dre-D rips up the mic on this one. The hook is sweet and I like the vocals on it. I'm not feeling LB as much as Dre-D. Decent production and good lyrics make this a good track overall.

  5. The same track from Hollow Tip's "Slug 4 Slug." It has a good beat by Oz and some nice production. Hollow and Mic-C have some nice lyrics throughout the track, but it's not nearly as good as any old Hollow Tip tracks. Decent track at best.

  6. Nice laid back production and beat by T-Lo that Dame flows perfeclty to. I don't really like the hook that much, it would have been better with some female vocals on it. I like this track a lot except for the hook. Good track overall.

  7. A Skanless solo track. He flows all about the ghetto and his life living in the slums. The production is like a R&B track by Big Hollis. Another soft beat that I'm not feeling at all. I like the lyrics, but the beat needs to be changed.

  8. Art Griff laces Marvaless up with some nice production on this one. She is the best female rapper to me and she has some sweet lyrics on this track. The beat gets your head moving and she comes clean on the mic. A good track overall.

  9. J-Mack is a hard rapper that flows super fast, but someone needs to tell him to slow down on this track. He goes way too fast for the beat and the nice production he laces the track up with gets lost with the speed of his flow. Would have been a good track if he would have slammed on the brakes a bit.

  10. The production by R.W. is nice, but that's about the only thing. I don't like the flows at all. Just skip this one or find it in instrumental form.

  11. A nice knoccin beat here from Steve of Ebony Players. The hook is sweet and I like the vocals. The beat gets your head moving and Mr. Dizz, X-Raided and C-Lim rip it up on the mic. I'm not feeling C-Lim too much on this one, but he still spits some tight lyrics. A clean track overall, one of my favorite on the album.

  12. Some better production from Big Hollis on this track. This is the first solo track from Mic-C I've ever heard. He has a good pace to his flows and I like his lyrics. I don't like the hook at all though. Some people don't like Mic-C at all, but he came come tight sometimes. A good track overall.

  13. A knoccin beat from Sycosis and he and Young J rip it up on the mic. The background vocals by Levi are sweet too. The beat gets your head moving and it's a great mix of sweet R&B vocals on the hook to hard gangsta lyrics on the verses. A clean track overall, another one of my favorites.

  14. People either seem to love Mr. Doctor or hate him. This track has a nice beat to it and I like his flow. Art Griff lays down a nice beat and some nice production. I've never been a huge fan of Doc myself, but this track is pretty good. Nothing special at all, but it has a good hook and good production. There is another rapper on it that's no listed.

  15. This would have been a great track if it was a instrumental with only First Degree vocals on it. M Sane does have some nice lyrics, but I don't like his style right here and it takes away from some tight production by the DE and sweet vocals DE on the hook. It's still one of my favorite tracks on the album though.

  16. Probably C-Lim's most famous track as of right now. The beat is pretty good and the production is clean. C-Lim comes with some clean lyrics on the mic, but I'm not a big fan of his style. He sounds really laid back on the mic, a little too much for the hard style he's trying to use. Still a good lyrical track though.

  17. Sweet dark production by Phonk Beta. Brotha Lynch does some talking to start it off and then Fig starts flowing. I like his lyrics, but I'm not a big fan of his style. He does flow well with other rappers though. Brotha Lynch never has a verse of his own, he just talks. Still some good shit from Siccmade Muzicc.

  18. Another good track from the Siccmade Muzicc family. Phonk Beta laces himself up a nice beat and he has some nice laid back flows. He's better as a producer, but this track is pretty clean. Nothing special lyrically, but I like the beat. A good track overall.

  19. A coo little beat in the background by Phonk Beta. Dame just talks about what's coming out on Highside records. Nice little ending to the album.

Overall this album had a lot of good talent on it, but it came up short with me. There is only about 5 or 6 I liked and the production wasn't all that great. For a comp that had some pure talent on it this one came up short big time. Only get it if you are a big time Sacramento rap fan.
