Bay Area Playas 3 - Ghetto Platinum
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- Probably the best track on the album, or at least one of the best. The beat
is a copy of Eazy-E's "I'd Rather Fuck You." This one has some better affects
to it. Keak Da Sneak has a tight flow and some good lyrics. In the words of
Eazy-E "One of those songs you wanna sit back and smoke a joint to." R.I.P.
Eazy.
- Two of the best on this track. The beat is coo and the background affects fit
in perfectly. Dru Down starts off and spits some tight lyrics. B-Legit has the
second verse. He some with sicc lyrics of his own. One of those tracks that
gets your head moving to the beat.
- Too $hort has the first verse. He spits some good flows. The other two rappers
aren't nearly as good as Too $hort, but they have some flows. A decent beat and
affects. An ok track overall.
- E-40 spits some of his good lyrics. He has the first verse. The Massie isn't
nearly as good as 40, but he's alright. The beat isn't that great, and the
background affects are sub par for E-40. A decent track at best, but E-40 has
some nice flows. The only good part of this one.
- A great beat to this one. A real catchy beat with some good background affects.
Spice 1 has the second verse and spits some coo lyrics as he always does. This
track is very good I think. It's got all the things that make it a good track,
beat, hook, affects and flows are good.
- Cougnut starts this one off with his unique style. He spits some lyrics about
death, ironic that he died not too soon after the release of this album. Cellski
has a good verse, King George has a good verse too. A good track overall though.
- This is anohter great track. The beat and background affects are perfect. Both
Black C and Tay Da Tay spit some good flows. This is one of my favorites on the
album. A sicc track.
- This is probably the weakest track on the album. The beat is good, but I don't
like Father Dom's delivery and his lyrics aren't that great. Skip it!
- Back to another good track. Killa Tay spits his style of flow and Pizzo and
Ironic come with some sicc flows too. The beat is good and the instruments fit
in perfectly. Some nice piano work on this one. A sicc track.
- Richie Rich has an ok verse, but should avoid trying to sing and just concentrate
on flowing. Rythm & Green has a better voice than Richie Rich, but he doesn't have
as good of lyrics. A decent track overall.
- C-Bo plus a great beat = one sicc ass track!! Rod Dee is on just enough to keep
from spoiling this one, but C-Bo rips up the mike and has some strait flows. This
is another sicc track. Another one of my favs. Bump this!!
- I'm really not feeling this track at all. I'm not loving any of the verses and
the beat is wacc. The background affects are even worse. Skip it!!
- The track sounds like it came from the early '90s, but I still like it. It gets
your head moving, even though the flows aren't really great, I still like the
lyrics. A funny track too. Good overall.
- I love this track too. Sean T and MOG aren't great rappers, but they spit some
nice lyrics on this one. The hook is coo too. A good track overall.
- Ok whoever put this track on here was trippin. This track is wacc. Don't play this
one unless you really like R&B and weak vocals.
Overall this was a great comp except for a few tracks. If the weak ones were taken
out then this might be one of the best comps of all time, but with the weak ones in
it's just a good comp with a few weak tracks on it.
