Bow Wow Records Presents - North West Ridin'
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- Intro. Mr. D.O.G. talks the whole way through about the album. There is a nice beat
going on in the background with some good affects.
- A good beat fits well with Mr. D.O.G.'s flow. His voice takes some getting used to,
but it is pretty good though. His flow is prettyg good, I don't really like the hook
all that much. Not a great track, but decent.
- Mac Money has a much better voice than Mr. D.O.G., but I think D.O.G. has some better
flows. Mac Money still has some good spits though. The hook is much better than the
previous track. The beat is decent and the background affects are good.
- I love the hook to this track: "Work your thang, take it off, you made me hard, now
make me soft." Of course the track is all about fuckin. A good little beat and some
nice background instruments and affects.
- The hook has some nice background vocals by Andrea. K. $wi$$ has a nice little flow,
but the vocals are the strong point to this track. The beat is good and the instruments
go well with the beat.
- One of the best tracks for beats and affects. The beat is sicc and the background
affects are tight. Mr. D.O.G. and Cool Nutz puts it down for the North West on this
track. A very good track overall.
- Another well produced track. Beat and instruments fit together perfectly. Both rappers
have a tight verse. A good track overall.
- The remix of the single from Mr. D.O.G.'s "Ghetto Politics." I like the original
better, but this one has some heat becuase Mac Money appears on it. Still like the OG
better though.
- Producer Bosko Talks a little bit about Bow Wow.
- I'm not really feelin' this track that much. The beat is a little disapointing and the
flow that Bleek has isn't that good. He has some good lyrics, but I don't like the
flow of the track.
- The siccest beat on the album no doubt. The background affects are sicc too. The flow
fits good and the lyrics have you into the track. One of those track that gets your
head moving to the beat. One of my favs on the album.
- A good beat and some sicc flows make this another great track on the album. Mac Money
starts off with some sicc flows. Mr. D.O.G. follows with some of his own. The hook is a
little letdown, but otherwise the track has some heat to it.
- The beat is nothing special, but the background affects are sicc. The flows fit great
with the beat and the lyrics are pretty good. The second verse is a bit of a
dissapointment, but otherwise the track has some heat to it.
- I like this track a lot for some reason. The flow is of course about taking some one
out. Mak Mahd has some heat here no doubt. The beat goes well with his flow and the
background affects are ok. The gunshot affects are from Nintendo's "Perfect Dark"
video game. Lol!
- The hook is pretty good, but I keep waiting for more sounds in the background. The
beat doesn't fit well without any other background affects. The flows are good, but
with a weak beat I'm not feelin' it.
- I don't like Kiesha's voice. She has too high of a voice to flow the way she does. Mr.
D.O.G. does his best to make up for the poor first verse, but he can't save this
doomed track.
Overall I was very impressed with the level of talent that Bow Wow Records displayed
on this album. Most of the rappers had some heat to them. With the exception of a few
tracks every song had some good qualities to them. A good album to check out no doubt.
