Brotha Lynch Hung & C-Bo - Blocc Movement
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. A phone call that talks about C-Bo getting picked up for parole violation. Just a quick little intro.

  2. The intro lead into this track. The beat is tight and C-Bo and Brotha Lynch rip up the mic. Kam comes with a nice verse as well. The beat gets your head into it and Lynch and C-Bo come hard as hell on the mic. One of my favorite tracks on the album. Tight!!

  3. Killa Tay starts this one off with a tight verse to a good beat. C-Bo comes with a tight verse as well and Lynch and COS have tight verses too. Just some hard nosed lyrics on this track. Everything fits together and everyone comes hard. I'm feeling this track. to the fullest. Tight overall.

  4. This is a C-Bo solo track. He spits some coo lyrics to a tight beat. The production is clean and I'm feeling this track to the fullest. I think that Lynch wouldn't have fit in well with this beat and I like it better as a C-Bo solo. It's a tight track.

  5. The best track on the album. The beat is tight and I'm feeling the production. C-Bo has the first verse and comes tight. He also flows on the hook. Lynch comes next and spits his style of flows. Tech N9ne finishes the track off with a clean verse. This is just a tight track all over. My favorite and the best on the album.

  6. This is a Lynch solo track. The beat is alright, but it's nothing like his other albums. He flows fast, but it doesn't have that dark feel that makes Lynch Lynch. He still spits some coo lyrics, but it just doesn't seem like Lynch to me.

  7. No C-Bo on this track either and I think this beat would have been perfect for his style. Lynch starts it off with a good verse. COS and Tall Cann come with some tight lyrics as well, but it doesn't feel like a Siccmade Muzicc track. Not enough of that dark feel. I'm not really feeling it too much.

  8. This is another Lynch solo track. The beat is slow paced and the production is alright, but I'm not really feeling the background instruments. Lynch spits some coo lyrics, but it's not his style. I'm not feeling it.

  9. Another Lynch solo. It has the beat from "Enter the Dragon." This beat has been used so many times, but I can see why. It's a coo track as Lynch spits some tight lyrics. He has more of those dark type lyrics on this one. It's much better than the other tracks on this album. He ends the track by saying his next album is coming 2002.

  10. This is a C-Bo solo track. He flows about some hard times in his life. It's some typical hard nosed C-Bo lyrics to a decent beat. It's a good track overall, but there are too many solo tracks and not enough of Lynch and Bo together.

  11. Finally both Lynch and Bo on the same track. The beat is slow and has a sad feel to it. The saxaphone is really good on this one. Some nice instruments and production. The beat alright. Phatts Bossi starts it off with a decen verse. C-Bo has the next verse and comes clean. Lynch comes next, but doesn't seem to fit well on this track. COS finishes it off and has the best verse of all four.

  12. Back to a Lynch solo track. This track has more of that dark feel to it. More of a typical Lynch track, but it still is not nearly as good as what he has done in the past. A good track overall, but nothing special.

  13. This is just a quick skit. A reporter comes up to Lynch and asks about C-Bo. That's it.

  14. This is a C-Bo solo track. He flows about money, power and respect. More of those hard nosed C-Bo lyrics on this one. No Lynch though, but I think this fits better as a C-Bo track. Lynch wouldn't fit in well on this one. A good track overall.

  15. No C-Bo on this track, but this is more of a Lynch style track. Zagg comes clean on this one with Lynch. I'm feeling this track to the fullest though. It's more like that dark type Lynch shit. More of that style that made "Season of Da Siccness" so good. I'm feeling this one and I think Zagg was a good feature for this one. I'm feeling it.

  16. Another skit. You can hear First Degree's voice in the background as Lynch makes a call about a check. That's about it.

  17. Another Lynch solo. The production is clean and I like the hook. The background effects fit in perfectly and I'm feeling Lynch's flow. This is a very good track overall, much better than some of the other Lynch solos. I think that Killa Tay would have been a perfect feature for this track, but no dice. It's still a tight track though.

  18. This is a weird skit. Some crazy talking about kicking the door in. Weird!

  19. Yukmouth and Spice 1 come hard on this track. C-Bo and Lynch hold it down for Sac and Spice 1 and Yukmouth hold it down for the Bay. I'm feeling this track although I don't know why two Bay artists are on a album about the Blocc? It's still a tight ass track. I'm feeling everything about it.

  20. Just a little phone call to Art B. He says Blocc Movement 2 at the end. That's it.

Overall I liked seeing both Lynch and C-Bo on the same album, but I really wasn't feeling most of it. On top of that there were too many solo tracks and not enough of Lynch and Bo together. Plus it was an album about the Blocc, but they had people on it from all over the place, even one from Kansas City. It's still a tight ass album, but and I am feeling most of it, but it could have been so much better with a few changes.
