Chazz Rokk - Rokk the Spot
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. This is the intro to the album and Chazz Rokk has a nice little flow on it. He has that hip-hop feel to him and I'm feeling it. He kinda reminds me of Equipto, they both have that same type of flow to them. The beat is coo and the production is alright. A nice little track to start the album with.

  2. A real hip-hop feel to this one as Chazz Rokk spits some clean lyrics on the mic. The beat gets your head moving as Chazz rips up the mic. The production by Kaz 1 is sweet. The background instruments are clean and I'm feeling how everything is put together. Chazz spits some tight lyrics, can't say anything more.

  3. Some more nice production this time by Deacon Da Villain. Chazz Rokk has more clean lyrics as he gives you that true hip-hop feel. The beat gets your head moving to the flow and the production is perfect. A nice medium pace to this one and Chazz flows perfectly. One of my favorite tracks on the album, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

  4. This track has a slower pace to it, but Chazz's flow fits in perfectly. The production is pretty basic, but it fits well with the pace of the track. I don't really like the hook too much, but that's about the only bad part to this track. Facx Murda brings a small element of gangsta to this track. Both together make this a great lyrical track.

  5. A nicely produced track by Magnetik and some nice stratches by RickFlavor. Chazz Rokk comes clean on the mic. This track is hip-hop to the fullest. I'm not feeling the hook too much, but everything else is perfect.

  6. Braille starts this track off with a decent flow, but I'm feeling Chazz a lot more on this track. The production by Rhythmatic The Beat Attic is pretty good, but it's not the best on the album. This track has more of a slower pace it, but Chazz still comes with some fast paced lyrics. I do like the hook to this track a lot more than previous tracks. It's a decent track, but there are much better ones on the album.

  7. Another solo track that showcases Chazz's mic skills. He comes with some heart felt lyrics and rips up the mic doing it. The production by Eyesoulated Mindz is clean. I like the background instruments on this track. The beat has a slower pace to it, but fits perfectly. Chazz flows about his lyrics being life's essence. It's a tight track overall, I'm feeling it.

  8. Some hard hip-hop on this track. The beat is hard and gets your head moving with the track. The production by Mr. Royce is sicc!! SmOOth starts this one off with a tight ass verse. Chazz comes next with some clean ass lyrics. Chazz uses a wide range of words and comes clean with every one. A tight ass track overall.

  9. More of that tight hip-hop on this track. More sweet production by Rhythmatic The Beat Attic on this one. Chazz has a sicc ass flow on this track that fits perfectly with everything. I'm feeling the hook as Chazz has a good flow just from start to finish. This track knoccs hard, can't say anything more. Sicc!!!

  10. Chazz flows about how this album is just the start to something big in the hip-hop game. I hope he's right because this album has impressed my from the start and I'm really liking what he's bringing to the table. The beat is coo on this little outro. A coo little outro track.

  11. This is the fist little bonus track. The remix to "Vibe Wit' Us." I kinda like the original beat a bit more, but this works just as well. It gives the track a bit of a different feel to it. A coo little remix.

  12. This is the remix to "Essence." I kinda like the original better on this one, but again the production is just as good as the original. It gives it the same feel, but it has a bit more bass to it and the effects are slightly different. A nice remix.

Overall this album impressed me from start to finish. The production was done by a lot of different people, but each track had good production to it. Chazz Rokk came clean on the mic on almost every single track. The people he had featured complimented his style well and the lyrics everyone came with were unique and had a sweet hip-hop feel to them. I hope this is only the beggining for this true hip-hop cat. Go get this album if you're a bit hip-hop fan cause I think there is a new face in Portland for hip-hop.
