EDJ - Life After
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. The first track from EDJ has some potential to it. The beat has a good pace to it. The hook is catchy and the background vocals sound good. The downfall is that EDJ doesn't have a good voice and his delivery isn't very good. The lyrics are good about living life to the fullest until you move on til the life after. Overall a decent track, but one that needs a lot of work to make it better.

  2. This is an instrumental version of the previous track. On this track the background vocals are still there. You can really listen to the beat and production level that N-E-Side has created.

  3. This track is much better than the "Life After" track. The flow of the beat and EDJ and R.K.D. fit together better on this track. The lyrics are about the fears of going back to the pen after being out and other things about after being released from prison. Overall a much better track than "Life After," but again it has poor delivery and EDJ's voice isn't very good. Needs work to make it better.

  4. Good background affects on this snippit. The hook has some nice background vocals. The hook is catchy and has a good flow to it. Good little clip. Poor quality though.

  5. This snippit has a sicc beat to it. The bass line is hard and the affects are good. The short clip of the lyrics sound good, better than the previous snippit.

  6. This snippit has a slow beat that's ok, but the track has some good lyrics and a great hook. The beat needs some work, but otherwise sounds good.

  7. This track has good production, but the lyrics don't sound good. The quality is low and the voices sound terrible, Lyrics are good, but delivery is weak.

  8. The beat is really good and the background affects sounds good. The hook is great. A very good snippit.

  9. This snippit has some good background vocals and a nice beat, but the lyrics are are too short to get into.

Overall this is a poor CD, but it shows that N-E-Side has some good production. Maybe with a few new rappres N-E-Side can make it big, but they need a lot of work.
