Equipto - Vintage Raps Vol. II: Like There's no Tomorrow
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. This is just the intro. Some talking over a nice little beat. Coo little intro.

  2. A knoccin beat on this one. The production and background intruments are sweet. Equipto comes hard on the mic with those true MC style lyrics. Equipto flows about being sorry for being so good. I'm feeling it. A sweet track to start it off with.

  3. Has a short clip of "Braveheart" in the beginning and then the beat kicks in. More good production on this track. Equipto comes clean on the mic again. The beat gets your head moving. This is a slick track overall, I'm feeling it.

  4. The beat on this track is so sicc!! It has a slower pace to it, but the beat comes off tight and Equipto comes with some tight flows. J-Duce has alright flows, but I'm feeling Equipto a lot more. A tight track overall.

  5. Just a little skit.

  6. A sicc track right here. Andre Nickatina starts it off with some tight flows. Lolo is a bit of a let down, but it's alright. The beat is tight and the production is perfect. Equipto comes with some tight flows of his own. Halfway through the track the beat changes. Lolo doesn't flow on the second part, but both Equipto and Nicky rip up the mic. I liked the first part more though.

  7. I'm not really feeling this track that much. It's a bit short first off. The beat is alright, but it just doesn't work that well. I'm not feeling how Equipto flows on this track because he style is a bit different. Not feeling this track at all.

  8. This is for all the mothers. Equipto talks about his mother and all woman. There is some nice intruments in the background. It has a slow pace, but fits perfectly. A nice slow tribute style track.

  9. I'm not feeling the production on this track that much. The beat has more of a dark feel to it. Equipto does come pretty good on the mic and spits some tight flows, but I'm still not feeling this track all that much. The track does get better as it does along, but I'll pass.

  10. More of that sweet production on this track. Equipto comes with some fast paced lyrics on this one. I'm feeling his flow. The other rappers on this one are alright, but I like Equipto more as a solo than with features.

  11. The beat is good on this one. San Quinn is a nice addition to this track. Equipto comes with some solid lyrics, although he comes much tighter on other tracks on this album. It's a clean track overall, I'm feeling it.

  12. The beat is tight on this track. It gets your head moving as both Equipto and Son Of Man come with some tight lyrics. The production is sweet. This is one of my favorite tracks on the album, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

  13. The production on this track is tight. I'm feeling the piano work in the background. Equipto raps about how he doesn't want to get tied down in a relationship. Again I think this would have worked better as a solo. Still a sweet track.

  14. Short skit that talks about the next track. Kinda funny.

  15. The production is pretty good on this one, but I'm not feeling Equipto's flow all that much. The topic is alright, but it doesn't fit in well with this album that much. I'm not feeling it at all.

  16. Another skit.

  17. The title track is alright. Equipto flows about living life like there is no tomorrow. The beat gets your head moving and I'm feeling the production. This is a clean track overall, I'm feeling it.

  18. Starts with a call from his dad. This is a little dedication to some of his friends. It's a nice dedication track, nothing special, but it's alright.

  19. Equipto flows about the difference between underground raps and industry raps. It has a good beat to it and more good production. A coo track overall.

  20. A short instrumental track to finish off the album. The beat is good and gets your head moving. A coo little way to end the album.

Overall I thought this was a solid album. This was the first time I had heard an Equipto album and I was very impressed with his performance. He is a very good solo artist and that's why I wonder why he had so many people featured on it. There were some good features to it, but for the most part I liked his solo tracks more. This is a good album overall, if you like something a little different then pick this one up. Very good for those who love music and not just raps.
