Gangsta Dre - Here Comes the Night
Reviewed By: Misanthropy2099
- Coo lil intro. Sets the basic mood of the CD. 7/10.
- Typical Gantsta Dre track. Sick lyrics, coo beat. Only downfall is Hollow Tip's
pathetic verse. I sure hope "Thug Status" don’t sound like this. Hollow had some coo
as shit and tight flow What happened to it on this song? 6/10.
- Coo, just some shooting. Don’t really have anything to do with the next song, but
first the CD. 7/10.
- I Luv this track. Savage shit, even though chorus is off the hook. Guest apperance by
Dre Hogg coulda been left out, but it don’t hurt the track any cuase he comes pretty
coo. Beat fits well and is catchy. 9/10.
- Beat is awesome. Gangsta Dre snaps wit the lyrics. I Digg everything about this track
and it becomes the highlight of the CD so far, then all of a sudden it gets ruined by
2 of the wackest rappers I've ever heard. Good thing Dre spits for a solid 2 minutes,
so I can enjoy it before being forced to hit track skip 6/10. (woulda been 10/10
without Skee64 & Immaculate).
- This isn’t exactly one of my favorite beats, but its listenable. Gangsta Dre spits the
into verse and exit verse to this Family track. However, his exit verse totally blows
away the rest of the track includeing his intro verse. The other rappers all suck and
are annoying to listen to. Sound like the chunky 5 or sumthin. 6/10.
- This track is intresting to say the least. A typical Gangsta Dre track (wich is a good
thing). It's nice to finaly gett a solo track by him. Not only does he hold his own,
he sounds the best alone. Only downfall I don’t like about this track is the beat, but
it doesn’t seem to be that big of deal since it works well wit the lyrics. Kinda eerie
feel. 7/10.
- Beat is coo. Compliments the track nicely. The chorus is slow, but also compliments
the beat and lyrics. The first rapper on this track is so annoying there is no way I'd
ever listen to this song without Gangsta Dre on it. 6/10.
- I'm luvin this beat for some reason. Gangsta Dre opens with a very heartfelt verse. It
kinda sounds like a continuation of the previous track. Once again Jea Hogg delivers
the wackest of wack versus. Other then that the song's tight. 8/10.
- Tight track. Classic beat from "Too Hott," but Gangsta Dre turns it out. Changing the
chorus to suit the needs. Overall sick track. D-Mac comes decent, but once again the
guest apperance could be done without. 8/10.
- Coo. Same type of ish as the first one. 7/10.
- Gangsta Dre puts himself truly on one with this song. Lots of energy. Lyrics are raw
as they come and his first verse is over a minute and a half with no weak points in
it. Only downfall is Jae Hogg, but even he comes tighter then his previous spits and
it doesn’t hurt the track. The way Gangsta Dre tears it up how could it hurt the
track? If MC Hammer was on this song itda still be dope. 10/10.
- Sick. Lets leave it at that. 9/10.
- I realy dislike this track. Too boring. The guests come boring, the beat is rather
yadda yadda, even Gangsta Dre verse is below average on this song. 1/10.
- I LOVE THIS SONG! "A mic and’a vocal box to give it to you ruff when I rocks.
Instrumentals like an oriantal busting ya chops." Only downfall is it's too short.
9/10.
- Finaly some guest appearances worth being on the CD. Beat is a lil strange, but sounds
nice. Greedy comes sick, lots of energy, something he is known for. Luni comes wit his
usual. If you know Luni you're in a surpise. "They call me, naw fuck it I aint even
gonn say it." Gangsta Dre also delivers a heated verse. 9/10.
- Tight solo, catchy and at the same, just overall dope. Something that ya wanna bump
when you wake up. Reminds me of Inner City Poet. Tons of energy. 8/10.
- Beat is dope. Gangsta Dre’s verse is sick. The chorus is off the hook. Guest are awful.
Mad Dog's singing is some real coo shit. 6/10.
- Same as before. 8/10.
Could have been a 10/10 of if the guest appearances were completely left off, maybe
Luni & Greedy could’a stayed, but everyone else blows at rapping. "Gangsta Dre
Presents EBK4" shoulda been the title, but besides the wack guests this CD is a
perfect example of what should be the standard of CD’s coming out. Tight beats, coo
short skits, emotion and energy. Can't wait for the next disk from Gangsta Dre, just
ditch the wack rappers. Overall 7/10.
