Kay-9ine - 9 Cocked Back
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. A little intro and then the beat kicks in and the album starts with a tight track. The beat from J.Deezy is clean and gets your head into it. Kay-9ine starts it off with a tight verse. I like his hard style on the mic. This is a tight ass track to get the album started with.

  2. Another tight ass beat from J.Deezy. Kurupt starts it off with a hard verse. I like the hook a lot on this track, it has a good ring to it and gets you into the feel of the track. Kay-9ine's verse is heated! He comes tight on the mic and I'm feeling his style to the fullest. A tight ass track overall, bump it loud!

  3. I think the hook could have been a little better, but it's alright. Kay-9ine has some coo flows. It's more of a laid back slow track. A good beat from J.Deezy. A coo laid back track overall, I like Kay-9ine's lyrics a lot on this track.

  4. A sampled beat here, I've heard it before on the Brotha Lynch & Sicx album. Kay-9ine talks about doing time for putting hands on a bitch. A decent track overall, but not nearly the best on the album.

  5. This track sounds like it was produced by Big Hollis, but it's J.Deezy. I'm not feeling Olie Loc at all, Kay-9ine's flows blow away his. The only thing I'm really liking about this track is Kay-9ine's verse, the rest can go.

  6. A coo beat from J.Deezy. Kay-9ine flows about living the fast life and the problems it has. Adonnis lays down his nice vocals on the hook. It's a very clean track in every way possible. I'm feeling it to the fullest. A nice slow paced track.

  7. A good beat from J.Deezy. I'm feeling Kay-9ine's verse, but not the others. Might have been best as a Kay-9ine solo track. A good track to bump, just pass the other verses.

  8. Just a quick interlude.

  9. A good beat from J.Deezy as Kay-9ine comes clean on the mic. I like the R&B styled vocals on the hook. I like the lyrics he talks about. It's a clean track overall. Another good mix with the vocals on the hook and Kay-9ine's hard style. I'm feeling it.

  10. Solid production from KeeKee Loc. A nice verse to start it off with. I'm feeling all the flows and verses on this track and I'm lovin the hook. The only bad part about this track is that is has poor quality to it. It's quieter then the other tracks on the album. In any case it's a tight track though, I'm feeling it.

  11. This is a little shout out track to all of Kay-9ine's homies in prison. He talks about how he can't wait to see them when they get out. Another good beat from J.Deezy. Mr. Dalicks has some clean vocals on the hook. Another tight ass track. I'm feeling it to the fullest.

  12. A good fast paced track that gets your head moving. Bogard stats it off with a coo verse. I'm not feeling Chocolate Tye at all, but I'm not a fan of many female rappers. Jay Ru lays down some nice vocals on the hook. Kay-9ine comes tight ass well. I tight ass track minus Chocolate Tye's verse.

  13. Another coo beat from J.Deezy. I'm feeling both Kay-9ine and Tiptoe Stallone on this one. A good pace to this track, much faster than some of the previous tracks. Can't really say more, just a tight track from start to finish.

  14. A real hard gansta track right here. A tight beat from J.Deezy as everyone rips up the mic. Everything fits together well and it's a good track to bump. A clean track overall, I'm feeling it.

  15. A coo laid back beat from J.Deezy as Kay-9ine comes with some fast paced flows on the mic. Kay-9ine rips it up on this one. He comes with some clean lyrics and his style is perfect for this track. This is one of my favorite tracks on the album, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

  16. A tight beat from J.Deezy that gets your head moving. Both Kay-9ine and Moss Major rip it up on the mic. A tight hardcore style to this track. Just another tight ass track overall, can't really say more.

  17. This is one of the few tracks that I'm not feeling at all. I don't like Playa Hamm's verse and I don't like Kay-9ine on the hook. The beat from J.Deezy isn't that great either. Just a filler track that I skip.

  18. A tight hard beat from KeeKee Loc. Kay-9ine starts it off with a clean verse. KeeKee Loc comes next, but I'm feeling his production more than his flows. Jayo's verse is recycled from from the Criminalz album. It's still a clean track overall, I'm feeling it.

  19. A coo beat from J.Deezy. Kay-9ine and Tiptoe Stallone flow about living in California. I think this track would have benefitted from a little tweaking on the hook, but besides that it's a clean track. A good track overall.

  20. It's just a little intro. A bunch of phone calls to Kay-9ine with a nice beat from J.Deezy in the background.

Overall this album really surprised me. The production was very good for the most part and I liked the lyrics, styles and people that Kay-9ine brought to the table. It came up just short of being a 5/5 album, but I think a few of the gues appearances needed to go. Still it's a very solid album. Definately a good album to check out. Go get it!
