Mad CJ Mac - True Game
Reviewed By: Mista MC

  1. Nothin but your average intro every artist has on there album, but this intro plays out things that happen in Jail, and how people are treated.

  2. Great start beat on this song, very laid back, and very meanfull verses. This is a real, true to life story on this song. It's about all the corrupt laws and cops. If you really listen to this song you'll find out all the bullshit laws that are out, like the 3 strikes which he talks much about on this song.

  3. A very tight beat on this song, the lyrics aren't very tight, but the story is kinda tight, but weird at the same time. Still a tight song overall.

  4. Classic song!!! This was one of the tightest songs ever released in 1995, and the rapping, lyrics, and production was so ahead of time this song was very unrated back then. This song is very laid back, but has some tight gangsta melodys on it. Poppa LQ busts a tight third verse.

  5. Very tight song, lyrics are pretty simple, but the way they're arranged made them come out very tight. Nothin but heat on this song, and some more of that laid back music.

  6. Classic song!!! This song has to be the best song on this whole album, and one of the best songs ever released in music, period. The whole song is a diss to Spice 1, but if you didn't know it before hearing the song you'd just think he's clownin wanna be folks actin like they hard. The lyrics on this song stay on topic which mades this song that much more tighter.

  7. One of the tightest songs on this album, the intro on this song could have been left off, but when the beat drops you know it's gonna be a classic. On the verses he stays on topic and spits some of that hot West Coast shit. The chorus is perfect and fits the song perfectly. P.S. - It is fucked up when ya losin ya mind.

  8. Pretty tight beat once again, but nothin really special on this song, but it's not a song you should pass up.

  9. Very tight song and a tight topic, but the beat is kinda boring. It's not another song you should pass up.

  10. Classic song!!! Very tight song with a amazing beat, but the intro wasn't really need. If you have some subs in your ride or some nice speakers at cha house you'll feel the beat unlike no other. This song is one of the best on the whole album, the lyrics are tight ass hell and the flow is awesome, and who ever mixed this song and did the EQ on it did a great job. The chorus is ok, didn't like the effects they used on it, but it's still tight. It's very short though.

  11. This is one song on the whole album I never took a listen to, but as I listen to it, it has a lot of meaning to it and it's him rapping a song as if he wrote a letter to his homie from jail. Very nice flow with tight lyrics, but it's nothin that really sticks out on the album, but don't pass it up.

  12. J Prince CEO of Rap-A-Lot Records gives a moment of silence to all the immates in jails accross america.

  13. Last song on the album and it's not a filler like most last songs on albums are. The beat is awesome and at first I passed it up, but when I let it play though it was a very tight song. The lyrics are awesome, and the flow is great just like all the other songs on this album.

Overall I must say this is the tightest album I have ever heard. It beats out all the other albums I thought were classic. The production on this is all done by Mike Dean who did a lot of Rap-A-Lot Records production in the early and late 90's. Do not pass up this album up, it's most likely not in the new section in stores, but you can find a used or maybe a new copy of this classic album on the internet.
