Redlight Records - Just a Taste
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. A solid beat from TOXSICK to get the album started. eMDe and JLP come with some good flows on the mic. I'm feeling eMDe more than JLP, but they both come clean. They talk about Redlight blowing up the scene. It's a coo track overall, I'm feeling it.

  2. I like the piano in the production from eMDe and the beat is good. They flow about rolling through the West Bay all day long. My favorite verses are J-Dash and eMDe's, but all of them come coo on the mic. A good track overall.

  3. This beat is tight right here. The Drunken Munk lays down the production for this track and does a good job. I like the first verse, but I'm not feeling the second one at all. The hook is good and the beat fits perfectly, but that second verse needs to go.

  4. Another tight beat from TOXSICK. JLP starts this track off with a decent verse. I'm not really feeling his style that much though. He does have some ok flows, but his style just doesn't go over well to me. eMDe has a tight verse though. A good track overall.

  5. A good hard beat from eMDe. $e$ starts it off, but I'm not really feeling his style too much. eMDe comes next with a good verse and JLP has a decent verse to follow it up. eMDe shines above the rest, but it's still a decent track overall.

  6. The title track has a good beat from eMDe. I like the verses from eMDe and J-Dash, but I'm not feeling the others. Would have been best as just an eMDe and J-Dash track. If the flows were a little better this might have been a better track, but I'm not feeling it because of the weak verses.

  7. A coo beat from eMDe. JLP comes with a better flow than some of the previous tracks. It's a decent track overall, nothing special, but still some good flows and a nice beat.

  8. One of my favorite beats on the album. eMDe lays down a tight beat and he comes tight on the mic as well. I'm not feeling ROSO or $e$ at all. A good track for the production and eMDe's flow.

  9. Another coo beat from eMDe. I like the flows on this track more than the last one, but there are some verse I'm not feeling at all. Again it's a decent track overall, nothing special.

  10. A tight ass beat from eMDe that gets your head moving. eMDe starts the track off with a good verse. I like his hard style and he seems to fit better with the beat than the other Redlight artists. J-Dash comes with a good verse and spits some good lyrics. After that the track goes downhill and I skip it after J-Dash's verse. A tight track until about 2:30 into it.

  11. A nice dark feel to this track from the production by eMDe and Cheesy. I'm not feeling Cheesy's or $e$'s verses, but everyone else comes tight on the mic. ROSO and SICKO come with much better flows than their previous tracks. I'm feeling this track minus the $e$ and Cheesy verses.

  12. Best track on the album. D-Sane laces up eMDe with a tight ass beat to flow to and he rips it up on the mic. He is the best Redlight artist in my opinion. I like his flow and style and he seems to fit with the beats better than the other Redlight artists. A tight ass track overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

  13. A tight ass beat from SICKO. It has a dark ass feel to it. SICKO has the best verse on this track. ROSO has a coo verse, but I'm not feeling Chessy at all. A tight track minus the Cheesy verse.

  14. If the $e$ verse wasn't on here it would be a tight ass track, but he brings this track down. I'm not feeling his style at all. eMDe comes with with his flow and with the production. Might have been better as a eMDe solo track. I like the female background vocals on this track too.

  15. I like both eMDe's and Jack D's flow. eMDe laces up a good beat as well. It's nothing special on this track, but I do like the flows and the beat. A good track to bump.

  16. One of my favorite tracks on the album. The hook is tight. The beat by eMDe is clean and gets your head moving. Everyone has their best verse on the album on this track. This is a tight ass track that gets your head moving. Bump it loud!

  17. TOXSICK lays down a sicc ass dark beat. eMDe and J-Dash come with some tight ass lyrics on the mic. This is another of my favorite tracks on the album. There is a hidden track at the end. It has clean production and good flows. A tight ass track to end the album with.

Overall this album was a good showing from Redlight artists, although I found I only liked about 3 or 4 of them. The production is very tight, mostly from eMDe, although I liked the tracks produced by TOXSICK and SICKO. I would have liked to seen more from eMDe and J-Dash and SICKO and less from the other Redlight artists. A decent album with a few tight tracks.
