Syko - Sykotherapy
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- Intro.
- This is the anthem for the 206 (Seattle). It has a medium paced beat to it, some good
instrumentals in the background. The lyrics are great. One of the best tracks on the
album.
- A fast pace with some good lyrics. Beat is ok, but good background affects. Lyrics
center around living the gangsta life and doing what you got to do. An ok track.
- The first solo track on the album. A slow beat, but a good one. A great sounding piano
in the background. Another good track off the album.
- A medium paced beat, but the flow is sicc. Syko just straight flows on this track. One
of those tracks that gets your head moving. A great track, one of my favs.
- A slower paced song, and the flows slow down too. Plenty of good affects on this track,
but I'm just not feelin' it.
- Another solo track. A slow to medium pace to it that suits Syko's flow well. Syko tells
of his competitiveness towards everyone in the world. A very good track. Slow, but
great.
- This track has a nice slow beat to it. Good sound affects in the background and a soft
flow by Syko. Lyrics center around sex, and being a playa. A good track all around.
- Great beat to this track. Tracks got some heat to it. Beat goes slow, but lyrics have a
quick pace to them. J-Dub comes tight on this track. Overall just a great track.
- The title track has a slow beat to it, with a good paced flow by Syko. I love the hook
to this track. Great affects combined with a sicc flow and a good beat makes this
track one of the best on the album.
- Brazy-J and Byrdie flow about how they haven't changed since their early days. The
beat is nothing special, but the sound affects are sicc. Track has some heat to it.
- This track is about sticking it out in the tough times. A slow beat and good
instruments here, but I'm feelin' this track. I don't like either rappers delivery on
this track.
- The lyrics on this track have some heart to them. Syko spits about all the bad things
that's happened to him in his life, and how he's making it through them. A good slow
beat and good instruments. A good track overall.
- This track has a fast pace to it. The lyrics are about people who think they're the
shit, but are really just fake. Track has some heat. One of the best on the album.
- A slow beat on this track. I don't like this track. Not feelin' the beat or the
flow.
- Some lyrics to live by. Syko spits some advice on how to live your life. A good track
for the lyrics. The beat is nothing special, but the background instruments are
good.
- A good track to end the album. Everything goes well together. The flow, beat, affects
and lyrics all go well together. Another good track.
Overall this album has some heat to it. Syko shows he can come with some kick ass
lyrics. Good production, flows, and guest appearances. If you don't got it check it out.
