Woodie - Demonz N My Sleep
Reviewed By: Mista MC

  1. The first track on this album changed my mind really quick about Woodie. From what I heard of Woodie in the past, I didn't like his flow, lyrics or anything about him, after I peeped a sample of this song, I had to hear the rest of the album. The first song in my eyes is the best on the whole album. Woodies flow on the first song is perfect, he's non-stop flowing on it.

  2. The second song beat is kinda pop-ish, but Woodie once again shows he's got talent and writes some heat on it. Lyrics on this track are somewhat simple, but the arrangement of how he put 'em made this track come out tight. The chorus is kinda wack, seems like he tried to put too much into it.

  3. This track starts off with a kinda scary sound to it, then comes a weird type melody, but when the beat drops and the singing starts you know it's gonna be a tight track. The flow on this is just like from the first two songs should have been more laid back, and the lyrics are related to the name of the song, so he stays on topic which most rappers can't do if there life counted on it.

  4. Ok, here's some of that corny bubble gum music. I'm not sure who thought this song would be tight and should be released on a album, Next!!!

  5. Beat starts off scary, your basic drop somewhat, but it's still tight. The flow on this is pretty tight, it kinda reminds me of something Bukshot spit on his second album. Nice story telling, once again the lyrics are pretty simple, but the way Woodie arranged them made it came out tight.

  6. This song starts off with a horrible melody, from how it sounds it kinda seems like a filler song for the album, and the lyrics are very simple, a lot of repeative words on this song, and ABC rhymes, NEXT!!!

  7. This song starts off sounding exactly like, Nate Doggs - "Keep It Gangsta," with the Zapp and Roger talkbox. Beat is very simple, and the vocals are very poor sounding and mixed, the song seems like another filler.

  8. You wanna know what happens when you try and put too much in a beat, and then try and place vocals on top of it? This is a perfect example. The flow is somewhat tight, but seems off beat, and it should have been re-written, and then rapped over again.

  9. Once again this song seems like another filler song. I'm not sure how songs like this could reach the album when he could do so much better like he did on the first couple songs on this album.

  10. Yes, it's about time, a headnod track by Woodie, and once again unlike most rappers can do, Woodie sticks on the topic the whole time. This song isn't about the same ol stuff you here in rap songs, killing, money, hoes, etc. This song sticks to what they dream about, nice song.

  11. Not to sure of the topic and the point Woodie's tryin to get across on this song. No meaning what-so-ever in this song, just a bunch of the repeative gang, tuff talk. Seems like another filler song, but it's somewhat good.

  12. I've heard these lyrics already by Woodie more then once on this album, but it's still tight. Kinda reminds me of the first song on this album, but it's not as tight. The chorus is very corny, but overall the song is cool, and it's a good ender for this album.

Overall this album could have been better. A lot of repeative lyrics on it, talking about the Bay on most of the songs, we already know Woodie's from the bay , but talking about it on every song dosen't make the album anything special or make any hype for the album.
