Yun-Gun - 16 Shots Bloc 2 Bloc
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- A gang of gunshots start off the album. A tight ass beat starts it off. Everyone comes tight on this track. Just some
mic rippin. I'm feeling both Yun-Gun and Sac/Sin's flows. A clean track to start the album off with.
- A slow pace to this track with a hard base line. C-Lim starts this track off. The beat fits his slow paced style. Yun-Gun
has the next verse and comes with some tight lyrics of his own. Cellus is next and comes with more of a fast paced
verse. Dub has a coo verse too. A good track, nothing special, but good overall.
- I'm feeling this beat. A good pace to it and the production as a whole is clean. Yun-Gun starts it with a quick verse
then Mr. Kee comes with some coo flows. A nice hard styled track to bump in the car. I'm feeling it.
- The only solo track on the album. Yun-Gun makes the most of it though and comes with a tight styled flow. He also
does good on the production end. He produced the whole album besides track 8. A good track overall, I wish he
would have had more solo tracks.
- The best track on the album. The beat is tight as fuck and everyone comes tight. This track was featured on the Lethal
Weaponz compilation. Droop flows about a million miles and hour on the hook. Kaoz comes tight, Dub comes tight
and I'm feeling Yun-Gun's verse. Can't say enough about this track, just bump it loud!
- A good hard beat for everyone to flow to. I don't really like the hook at all, but the rest of the track is tight. Everyone
comes clean on the mic. I like Mr. Kee and Yun-Gun the most, but the others don't dissapoint. A good track overall.
- Another one of my favorite tracks. The gunshots in the background add a good effect. The hook is my favorite part of
the track. The beat is clean and I'm feeling everyone's flow. I think this track would have worked best as a solo, but it's
clean how it is now. I'm feeling it to the fullest.
- A slower paced track. The beat Doom is clean. I like the flows, they fit with the production well. The hook is my
favorite part of the track. This is another one of my favorites. A clean track overall.
- Another one of my favorites. Mr. Maja comes tight as fuck on this one. The beat is clean and gets your head moving.
Yun-Gun and Key-Loc come tight too, but I'm feeling Mr. Maja the most. Everything works perfectly and they rip up
the mic. Can't say anything more, bump it loud!
- Another clean beat from Yun-Gun. They flow about mobbin through the town on some crome ones. I'm feeling
Yun-Gun more than S-Fury, but they both have some coo lyrics. I like all the little sound effects they put in too. A tight
track overall.
- I don't know what's up with the baby crying in the background. Sure the track is about baby gangstas, but it makes it
sounds a little corny. Besides that everything else is pretty tight. The beat is hard and everyone comes clean on the mic.
Would have been another one of my favorites, except for the damn annoying baby.
- The only one I'm feeling on this track is Yun-Gun. I don't like the hook either. This track is really dissapointing to me.
Yun-Gun should have kept this as a solo track. The other rappers need to go.
- X-Raided starts this track off with a tight verse. The beat is alright and it fits the feel of the track perfectly. Yun-Gun
has the next verse and comes with a clean verse. Dub has a good verse of his own. They rep Northern California and
talk about the pain they bring to the streets. A tight track overall.
- A tight beat to this track. I like Dub and Yun-Gun more than Cellus, but he spits some decent lyrics. Everything fits
together perfectly and all the flows work well with the production. The beat gets your head moving. Can't ask for
anything more than that. I'm feeling it to the fullest.
- A nice dark beat fot this track. I'm feeling both Yun-Gun and Sac/Sin's flows on this track. A slower pace to the beat,
but it works perfectly for the feel of the track. Some hardcore gangsta lyrics on this track. A tight ass track overall, I'm
feeling it.
- A well produced to finish the album off with. I'm not really feeling Spank-Loc at all, but Yun-Gun rips up the mic.
Some hardcore lyrics on this track like the previous one. There is a bonus track on this one too. It's the track from the
"Controversy Sellz" compilation called Count the Cash with Young Droop, Gemini and Night Train. A tight way to end
the album.
Overall this is a clean album from Yun-Gun. He shows he can produce some tight beats and also come tight on the mic.
I think future albums from him will be even better, but I'm perfectly happy to listen to this album for now. The only thing
I didn't like was the lack of solo albums. Only one for an album isn't enough. It's still a coo album to pick up though.
Check it out for yourself.
