| Traveling north, we passed Adora, a community five miles west of Hebron. Adora had suffered a terrible terror attack awhile back, when two terrorists, dressed in IDF (Israel Defense Forces) uniforms, murdered four people, including 5-year-old Danielle Shefi, and wounded seven others, including Danielle's mother and brothers. Following that attack, people left, so that the community of 80 families was reduced to 25. We were told, however, that religious families are returning, establishing a program of Yeshiva training before army service. On the right side of this picture, you see some "apartments" where the new residents are temporarily living. |
