| Continuing along, we arrived in Itamar, a community of over 100 Jewish families, where Dr. Eliezer Hirschberg, a math professor at the College of Judea and Samaria in Ariel, guided us around. The community is marred by the vacant home (shown here) of the Shabo family, who were victims of Arab terror in June 2002 when Mrs. Shabo and her three children were murdered by Arab terrorists who broke in and killed them. The home is a grim reminder that peaceful coexistence with the Arabs is just not possible in Israel |
