Art by Lola Martin
Lola Martin began painting only a couple of years ago.  Her artwork was in the beginning a means of working past emotional pains.  It has proved to be therapeutic to her.

The paintings shown on this site are Lola's more recent work which were displayed in a one-artist exhibition at the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Sacramento in April 2001.  Her artwork was selected for inclusion in Sacramento's KVIE Channel 6 auction for support of public television.

Upcoming art events in which Lola will participate include "Chalk It Up" in Sacramento and an art display in April 2002 in Soho in NY.

Note:  Please pardon the distortion in the photos of the paintings.  I know what I did wrong in photographing them and, hopefully, future photos I take of paintings will be squared properly.
