Meeting 1
The following issues were discussed:
~ The model to be chosen for the project: Aspects of all the various models like
the linear model, the incremental model, the spiral model, iterative model as
well as 4GT techniques were discussed. It was decided that the incremental model
would suit our needs best because following this model we can come up with a
basic product which can then be repeatedly improvised on. The spiral model was
rejected as complete description and design would be required before
implementation is started. The iterative model was rejected because it doesn’t
identify detailed input, processing or output and as such we would be very
unsure of the path to take. The linear model was rejected based on the fact that
it requires customer patience and any blunder would lead to disaster. It was
decided that 4GT techniques would be used in the software implementation.
~ Roles of team members: Team members were broken into programmers, testers and
administrators.
~ Specifications given by the clients and our improvisation
