24 ounces Coconut Oil

24 ounces Olive Oil

12 ounces of Lye

32 ounces Distilled Water

*2 ounces of Castor oil added at trace

Mix lye and water together to form a solution.Always pour the lye into the water. Add the lye solution to the melted oils at 110º degrees.Stir until trace, add botannicals and essential oils or fragrance oils. Pour into a mold, insulate and let set for 24 hours. Unmold , slice into bars, let bars cure 4 to 6 weeks.

*I found thru trial and error that adding a small amount of castor oil at trace greatly reduces the presence of soda ash on top of cured soap.Just a little tip from me to you!
