GREAT BIG SEA!!!!
This was a free show... IN PITTSBURGH!!!! But you see, I do not remember much of the show. I was too busy paying attention to the girl I had waited so long to meet. It was at the Great Big Sea concert, on July 16th, 2000, in Pittsburgh, PA, that I met the girl I truly love for the first time. FOr the majority of the concert we walked around the area (it was an outdoor venue), and near the end of the show, we settled by a big yellow
metal statue-like thingy. Karen and I STILL don't know what it was supposed to be... But, anyway. Good tunes were played and good times were had by all... Especially two lucky teenagers. Afterward, though, Karen's mom was mighty annoyed at us. You see, when we began our walk around the premisis, we were actually supposed to pick up something and bring it back to Karen's mom It was AFTER the show that we remembered to do this... And my dad reminded us as he was going up the huge hill that we were going down. But after we got the items, and got down to where you can meet the band and all that, all was forgiven by Karen's mom. She was able to meet the member of the band that she hadn't met yet (Bob Hallett, the fiddle player... And he plays other things that don't exactly jump to mind), and she was happy. As were Karen and I. As you can see I met the band after the show

as well. In that first pic, up there, Alan Doyle (the guitarist and lead singer) was kinda tired and methinks we surprised 'im a bit with the flash! Second one he was ready for, though. Nice fellow. :)

And this is Sean (sorry, can't get the accent mark on the "e!"). He plays the bohdran, tin whistle and guitar in the band... What the bodhran is, exactly, I don't know. I couldn't exactly see the stage while walking.
* Yes, I AM scraping the barrel for these!!
