| care. Rich was the only one that didn't see Godsmack. He's lucky. They were ABSOLUTLEY HORRIBLE!!! Sully Erna (the lead singer) needs to be smacked around... A LOT. Basically, he just wanted to prove that he's just so edgy because he can say DIRTY WORDS. He actually said the following during a interlude (an unnecesarilly long one, too)... And I (semi)quote... "I've got a message for all those disco fucks that think rock is dead... You all might wanna join me...... (yelling) FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!" If I remember correctly, he also threatened to "beat the shit" out of a chick that was sitting down while they were playing. That alone just showed me a complete lack of class on his part. I was waiting for them to play one song... "Whatever." Why? Because I knew it'd be their LAST song!!! And they'd get off the stage to let the TALENTED band get on. Finally, they were done, and my brother and I snuck onto the floor where my brother's two friends were. After a while, the giant star/projection screen for STP was raised and the next Led Zeppelin took the stage. Scott Weiland is, possibly, one of the greatest frontmen EVER! This guys knows what the fans want. Comedic (in disturbing ways sometimes.... He gave Dean DeLeo, the bassist, a lap dance. Afterward, he just casually stated, "I find nothing wrong with one married man giving another married man a lap dance."), energetic, and everything a frontman SHOULD be. Very active. Did a lot of belly dancing and schtuff like dat. Robert DeLeo, at one point in the show didn't approve of the way one of the security guards was treating the fans. Started kicking him and spitting at him. Yelling, giving the finger and stuff. Scott went next to him and said "there's always an asshole that has to fuck things up for everyone else... And the asshole's wearing a yellow shirt." (Yellow is the color of choice for the security guards at Hara Arena) No problems from there on out. I helped a lot of people get up to crowd surf... Got VERY close the the stage... Cringed when Scott wrapped himself in the American flag and nothing else... Scott was BUCK NAKED under the flag. The Acoustic set was very good... (as you can see, I'm just typing the thoughts about the concert as they come to my head) VERY tight band. Like I said... They're the next Led Zeppelin. They HAVE to be good. :) On the way home, many jokes were made at Weiland's expense... Like, how Christmas and Thanksgiving is like at the Weiland household... His kicked heroin addiction... Lots of laughs... But it was an EXCELLENT concert... Surprisingly, I enjoyed it immensely considering what happened before I left to go. But I will not tell you all about that. Anyway..
