15 Stories, to be completed by end of 2001
As part of the State Facilities Modernization Program (often referred to as the "Albany Plan" for Capital Region projects) construction of a new building for the Office of State Comptroller and Common Retirement Fund is underway on State Street in Albany.  Approximately 1,800 State workers will transfer from the Alfred E.Smith State Office Building on Swan street and from other leased space.

Construction of this 15-story, 469,624 gross square foot office building and a connected 350 parking space garage is being supervised by the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York.

The new Comptroller Building was designed by McNeice, Hatch and Roblee.
