Jen & Aaron: Love Comes Softly
They barely knew eachother when, after an evening trying to drink away the pain of fights with their respective loves, they fell into bed together.

And now they've turned to eachother for comfort in the wake of Diego's death and Jamie's injuries. Jen feels lost now that her 'brother' Jamie, who loved her despite his hatred for her mother and biological brother, is suddenly unaccessable. Meanwhile Aaron grieves for his boyfriend Diego, and prays for the life and health of Jamie, his nephew.

And then a new bombshell drops into their laps: Jen's pregnant!

"They aren't in love, and in fact are both getting over failed romances, but fate threw them together all those months ago, and now it's pulling them together for the sake of their child," shares HF writer Mara.

Jamie's Awake, But The Love Is Gone
This week, Jamie wakes from his coma, much to the relief of his family and friends.

But relief quickly turns to horror as the confusion Sarah tells them is normal doesn't fade, and it soon becomes clear: Jamie doesn't remember anything!

"It's a classic case of Soap Amnesia," HF writer Mara tells readers. "His memory is completely gone, not even the emotions are left."

The most heartwrenching scenes will be as Summer finds out the man she loves, the father of her son, doesn't remember her. "Summer tries to tell Jamie how in love they are, but it just doesn't click for him," Mara continues. "He simply doesn't feel anything for her, except for irritation at how she, like everyone else, is pushing him."

Everyone wants Jamie to remember, except, oddly enough, Jamie himself. All he wants is to be left alone to figure out who he is on his own.

Could Laurence And Matt Be Father And Son?
Last week, Matt was shocked when he overheard his mother argueing with Laurence, father of his new girlfriend, Laura. Or, rather, he was shocked by the topic of arguement: Matt's paternity!

What neither Matt or Laura knew was that almost 20 years ago Laurence and Janice had an affair while Janice was living in Heaven Falls. And that Mitchell Brady may very well not be Matt's father.

"Of course this leaves Matt reeling," comments HF writer Mara. "He can't go to Laura with this, not until he knows what's going on. His best friend, Diego, is dead. His sister is distracted with her boyfriend's amnesia. He feels alone in dealing with the possibility that he's falling in love with his sister, and has no where to turn."

"Catherine knows about the possibility and always has, which is why she's always been so set against Matt and Laura's relationship," Mara continues. "She's disgusted by the possibility, and of course fears for her daughter's heart if it turns out to be true."

"In the end, this storyline will lead to some major problems for the Bradys and the Randalls."

Can Matt Forgive Them For The Lies?
The truth is out and everyone knows: Mathew Brady should have been Mathew Randall!

"It's hard for Matt to forgive these two people for lying to him. Janice let him think that the man who ridiculed him for his low grades at school was his father, and Laurence never fought for him. And of course there's the fact that they both let him begin dating his own half sister!" Mara explains.

And in Matt's eyes, the two biggest victims of the lies are Laura and Summer, his half sisters. Laura's devastated that the man she was falling for is her brother, and Summer is equally devastated by the fact that Matt is only her half brother. He's angry that his sisters are suffering so much for the mistakes of others.

"But Matt also sees Laurence as a chance for a father who won't be as critical of him and his mistakes. He knows Laurence is a good guy, despite the lies, and part of him wants to build a relationship. But the other part of him thinks he should avoid his newfound father to spare Laura further pain."

His Brother's Wife...
With his marriage to Catherine in shambles, Laurence finds himself drawing closer to his widowed sister-in-law, Elizabeth. Unfortunately it creates an awkward situation for almost everyone connected to them, especfially when their past together is revealed!

In high school, Elizabeth had a crush on Laurence, who was a few years older. She even managed to get a few discreet dates with him, ones no one knew about because of the Bowen-Grant fued that would have forced them apart. But it wasn't long before her father found out and decided she needed to go to school in Chicago near her mother and far from her troublemaker crush.

2 years later, the newly graduated Elizabeth returned to Heaven Falls for a visit, and found Laurence already married and the father of a newborn son, Jacob. It didn't take long for Elizabeth to meet Mike, Laurence's younger brother, and fall in love with him, forgetting all about Laurence by the time their son, Jamie, was born.

But Laurence never forgot about Elizabeth and the time they had together, and as he watches her struggle with the pain that seems intent on filling her life, he wishes he could go back and change everything, wishes that he hadn't given her up and married Catherine so long ago.

Making matters worse, Laurence's new found son, Matt, who he is desperate to connect with, is dead set against the reunion. And while Laurence knows he can't let anyone else decide his heart for him, he also knows the decision is one that could hurt a lot of people, including his children and Elizabeth herself.

Jamie's Choice
Jamie faces a choice this week, as he finally finds Summer and realizes she, and their children, are in grave danger. But as he fights to save her, he learns there's only one way Ari will let Summer go home: he has to marry Ari's daughter, Cassandra!

As disgusted as he is by the idea of being with anyone but Summer, Jamie also knows he has no other way to save Summer and send her home. So, he makes the decision to sacrifice himself and immediately files for divorce. "It's a heartwrenching moment when Jamie explains to Summer what he's done. She's devastated that she's losing him again, but he makes it clear he's only do this because he has to know she and the children are safe. He begs her not to cry, that his heart will be with her in Heaven Falls, even if his body's in Greece with Cassandra and her family," Mara explains.

"It's actually the easiest thing Jamie has done in his life, giving up his life and freedom for Summer's. She's his heart and soul, and as long as she's out there, alive and safe, he knows he can handle whatever comes at him. Even if that's Cassandra Andros."

Homecoming
Maria left town not long after the death of her older brother, Diego, and stayed away when she learned her best friend didn't remember her. But now she feels strong enough to come home, and she finds that a lot has changed in Heaven Falls.

"Maria's family has been shielding her from all the changes in town. She has no idea about Matt being a Randall, or Jamie beign in Greece with the Andros Family, or even that her little sister is dating Devon Smythe," Mara shares. "She's completely in the dark, and it's all going to be a big shock."

Worst of all is that she knows she should have been there with her family and friends, helping them through all the pain. But now that she's here, she's determined to fix things for everyone, starting with Matt.

"Matt's in pretty bad shape, feeling guilty that Laura felt she had to leave town to escape from her feeligns for him, and worrying about his sister and how she's dealing without Jamie. He NEEDS someone to take care of him, and Maria is more than willing to do that."

Heart & Soul
It's taken him months to convince the Andros family, or more specifically his sadistic wife Cassandra, to let him come to Heaven Falls to see his mother, but that's not what his soul needs. After a brief, and sad, reunion with Elizabeth, he seeks out the one person in the world who he needs: His ex-wife, Summer.

But when he finally finds her, she's in the arms of another man, Ken. And while he knows he can't expect her to wait for him, afterall he is married to another woman now, it still tears him apart that she has moved on so soon when he still wakes every morning craving the sound of her voice or the touch of her hands.

What Jamie doesn't realize as he races away from the revelation, is that Summer feels nothing more than friendship with her fellow Pre-Med Student. And unfortunately she doesn't see that Ken's feelings are a lot deeper and intense than she ever imagined.

"Jamie feels like he's been struggling to stay afloat for nothing, not realizing that Summer has been struggling jsut as much. They've both been floundering in the lives they've been forced into, and all they need is the one thing they can't have: eachother," Mara shares.

Jamie impulsively decides that he needs to return to Greece immediately, and no one can convince him otherwise. When Elizabeth pleads with him to at least visit his children, Jamie yells that he can't, part of the deal to allow him to come was that he have no contact with the infants or their mother. And he learned his lesson after breaking the deal to see Summer, and finding her with another man. But as he turns to flee the mansion, he finds Summer coming to visit with Jen and Aaron. Face to face with her, he finds himself having to make another choice.

Does he return to Greece and keep Summer and their children safe? Or does he stay in Heaven Falls and risk everything to be happy again?

New Faces In Town
With Jamie's decision to stay in Heaven Falls, he finds his life and those of his family, at risk. So, he turns to his grandmother for help legally ending his connection to the Andros', and to Lorenzo for helping protecting his family.

Isabel sends one of the Valles Family lawyers, an expert in international law, to help with the divorce and anyother legal technicalities. Brian Kiriakis (Rick Hearst) is a ruthless man when it comes to winning for his clients, and he'll sink to any level it takes to do so.

Lorenzo calls an old friend, Jon Friar (Chad Brannon), to act as security for the Bowens. As a former assassin, Jon has no problem using deadly measures to protect those in his charge, especially when they're innocents likes Danny and Emma Bowen.

These two men will play major roles in the future of the Bowen family, whether they survive.

The New Lawman
Since Heaven Falls began in 2002, it's lost 2 officers (Mike Bowen was killed in a car accident, and Hank Powers was revealed as a rapist), so needless to say they HFPD is in need of new officers.

Enter Seth Martin, originally of San Diego. Seth's used to drug dealers and gang members, not people trying to take over the world, so he's in for quite a surprise when he first learns of the Andros Family.

"He's a good guy, with a strong sense of right and wrong. And catchign the criminals, no matter what it takes, is his top priority," Mara reveals. "Seth is going to have those priorities come into question as he sees that sometimes you need to do a little bad to get the right outcome."

Look for him to become heavily involved with the Jamie and Cassandra mess, as well as attempt to reconnect with his ex-fiancee, Toria Edison, who left him at the alter 5 years ago.
