Trouble Brewing

This week, Miranda is shocked to come face to face with her ex, Frank Parish, the biological father of her son Richard! "Miranda thought she escaped from Frank when she met Daniel Sr. in Las Vegas and got him to marry her despite the fat that she was almost 7 months pregnant," Mara reveals. But then he turns up in Heaven Falls, claiming he wants her back and wants to know their son, who's now long since grown. And as she listens to his promises, she realizes he can help her get what she wants: revenge on her soon-to-be ex-husband! "Daniel's pretty much kicked her to the curb following the revelation of how she manipulated Annie 5 years ago, but Miranda isn't about to let go of the Grant money. So she enlists Frank to help her secure enough dirt on Daniel to garuntee he will pay her a hefty allowance for the rest of her life." But Frank's got motives of his own, and Miranda may just regret the reunion!

3rd Time's The Charm?

When Jamie and Summer first got married on Febuary 14 2005, it was a big affair that half of Heaven Falls was invited to attend. But as they prepare to remarry, they opt instead for a simple ceremony for just those most important to them. "They've had enough of everyone knowing their business after the Andros situation," Mara offers. "And they just want a little peace. They decide that a quiet, private, wedding is just what they need. It's far more touching and emotional than their first wedding. The first wedding was basically on impulse, this time it's because they know truly know they need eachother. "Jamie and Summer both want this wedding to be it for them. Summer even says in her vows that she refuses to marry Jamie a 3rd time, so this time better last," Mara shares, laughing. "This wedding represents a healing for Jamie. It signifies that Greece is really over. Sure, now he and Summer have to live with the worry of the Andros' coming after them, but they'll be together as they do it."

Oh Brother!

There's a lot of long lost family in Heaven Falls, and this week another makes hsi presence known! This time it's Jacob Randall (Jensen Ackles), eldest child of Laurence and Catherine Randall, who's long been believed dead. In 1987, 5 year-old Jacob disappeared from the park when his mother looked away for just a few minutes. Sicne at the time there ahd been a streak of child abductions and murders, Jacob's disappearance was attributed to the serial killer, despite no body being found. "Jacob barely remembers what happened that summer, but he's always known in the abck of his mind that he wasn't who everyone said he was. And now, he's found the crucial information he needed to find his parents again," Mara shares. "He's 24 years old now, an adult, but he's desperate for answers about the dreams that haunt him. And he's sure Heaven Falls is the place to find them."

Summer's Kidnapper Revealed!

Ari Andros is a man out for revenge against the Valles family. They are the only people standing in the way of him gaining control over the world financial market, and time and again they have gone back on promises of giving over control of their companies. In 1994, Ari planned on holding Elizabeth for ransom to get revenge, but his plans were altered when she was shot shortly after he drugged her. With all of Heaven Falls believing her dea,d he instead forced her into a marriage with his son, Stefan, hoping that a joint Andros/Valles heir would force Isabel to finally hand over the Valles holdings. What he didn't know was that Elizabeth is incapable of having any more children because of compliocations from Jamie's birth. And when Stefan died 9 years later, she was released and returned home. But now Elizabeth is shocked to learn the same man who held her for so long is the one who kidnapped he rpregnant daughter-in-law, Summer Brady-Bowen. Even worse is when she learns her son has decided to sacrifice himself to the Andros family in exchange for Summer and his newborn daughter's lives.

Twisted Love

Cassandra Andros is a beautiful woman, too bad she's also completely insane and infatuated with Jamie! The youngest child of Ari Andros, Cassandra is used to getting just what she wants. And the moment she sets her eyes on Jamie, who has come to rescue his wife from Cassandra's father, she knows she wants him. So when she overhears him saying he will do anything to protect Summer, she hatches a plan. "She's counting on the fact that Jamie will sacrifice himself for Summer and the baby, and she's right. In one fell swoop, with one simple demand, Cassandra finds herself once more getting exactly what she wants," Mara shares. "But she's also counting on Jamie falling in love with her, which is simply impossible. He's basically, in his current state, incapable of loving anyone but Summer. And how could he ever love the person who forced him away from hsi true love and their children?" But Cassandra isn't one to back down, and she intends to make Jamie her husband in all ways, no matter how much it detroys him.

Bittersweet News

This week, after almsot a month of not knowing anything about Jamie's well being, word finally arrives in the form of a letter penned by Cassandra and accompanied by a photo of them on a yacht in the Mediterean, on their 'honeymoon'. "Summer is devastated to know Jamie has actually married Cassandra, and sickened by the idea of her beloved making love to the other woman. But at the same time she's relieved to know Jamie is alive," Mara shares. And to Summer, a picture says more than a thousand words. "She cna tell from his posture that he's only pretending to be content or accepting of the situation. His arm, though around Cassandra, doens't evne come close to touching her. And most importantly to Summer, around his neck it the gold cross she gave him for his birthday. The one with 'Impossible' engraved on the back.

Songbird

Theresa's always felt like she was in the shadows of her family. Diego was the jock, Maria the tough girl, her uncle Drew a doctor, and her mother a business woman. And she was just plain Theresa. Until now. "Theresa's found her 'thing', though," Mara shares. "She's always loved music, and a variety of it. Everything from pop to rap. And while babysitting for Danny she realized she also loves singing." Unfortunately Pilar is dead set against it, knowing just what kind of outfits female singers wear nowadays and not wanting her little girl to dress like that. But Theresa is determined, and signs every chance she gets, practicing behind her mother's back and trying to get an audition with a local label. "She's going to get that chance, though it doens't turn out quite as she planned," Mara reveals. "It will lead into an even bigger storyline for her, one all her own, that will give her the chance to show everyone she's not a little girl anymore."

Love & Business

Annie took a chance when she took Lorenzo back, and she's really hoping he won't break her heart again, which he's desperate not to do. But life isn't quite so kind for them. "When Lorenzo calls in a favor with an old friend, who he admits used to be a hired killer, Annie starts worrying that he's up to his old habits in the world of crime. But Lorenzo insists he and Jon are just old friends, dating back to before his involvement with a drug smuggler," Mara says. "And the more Lorenzo protests, the more convinced Annie becomes that he's lying, partially because Daniel Jr. is trying to manipulate her." Lorenzo is a good guy, but he does have a few too many contacts with criminals. And it scares Annie, who wants to start a family with him, that these people are still in their lives. But on the other hand, these contacts can get within the Andros organization and warn the Valles and Grants about any Andros plans against them. "It's a Catch-22 situation. She's damned if she doesn't, and terrifed if she does."

Fire & Ice

Theresa thought she was going to get the chance to enjoy a night out, singing at open mic night as the newly cleaned up Warehouse, in front of a record producer. Instead her dream turns into a nightmare as the club goes up in flames, trapping her inside! Then, like something out of a movie, a hero picks her up and carries her out of the flaming building, just in time to look back and see it collapse. It's love at first sight for Theresa when she meets her dashing rescuer. "He even looks, in Theresa's opinion, like he stepped right out of a romantic movie!" Mara says with a laugh. He even disappears mysteriously, leaving behind only the jacket he had put around her when they got out in the chilly evening air, leaving her to wodner if maybe she imagiend her handsome hero. Theresa's determined to find him again, even if he doesn't want to be found!

The Assassin & The Princess

When Jon and Mak met, it was hate at first sight. Mak though Jon was nothing but a thug, and Jon thought Mak was a spoiled little Italian Princess. But when gunmen took a shot at Mak in the lob of Grant Enterprises, and the mismatched pair ended up trapped in the elevator, Jon found his heart melting towards the vulnerable girl who felt like the future of her family was on her shoulders. Now they've found themselves falling in love, despite their attempts not to. "Sure, it's a little cliched," Mara admits. "The bad boy and the good girl. But Mak and Jon are just too perfect to ignore." For thos whp've forgotten, Jon used to work as an assasin before becoming Jamie and Summer's guard. And Mak is a distant cousin of Jamie's, who's family still holds the royal titles that Jamie's branch of the family gave up.
