New Love?
Despite wanting nothing more than to give up on life, Summer knows that she has to stay strong for Danny and Emma. And she knows she has to do as Jamie asked her and live her life, try to be happy. But no matter how hard she tries, happiness continurs to elude her. Until she meets Ken Landon that is!

"The last thign Summer wanted or though she needed was a guy in her life," Mara shares. "But Ken actually makes her laugh, something that's been impossible since leaving Jamie in Greece. For the first time she feels a glimmer of happiness, and she realizes she needs to try for her children's sake. And to that end she broaches an offer of friendship to newcomer Ken."

But what Summer doesn't realize is that Ken wants a lot more than friendship. Since the moment he saw her, spralled on the grass after their run-in, he's been in love. But Summer is completely oblivious, assuming no one could be interested in a 19 year-old mother of two with an ex-husband.

Reunited!
Last week, Jamie devastated Summer by running away from her when they came face to face at the Grant Mansion. This week, Jamie turns the tables on her by turning up at the Penthouse!

"Jamie ran because he was scared. He knew that if the Andros' learned he had seen Summer, she or the childrne would be hurt," Mara reveals. "But after a little time to calm down and think, he's realized he can't leave Heaven Falls again. He can't leave Summer or their children."

But while this decision brings some much needed peace and happiness to the pair, it doesn't fix every problem plaguing the young Bowen family. The Andros' won't be willing to let Jamie out of their clutches so easily, and they know Summer is the msot likely target of their rage.

Startling Revelations
As Summer's would-be rescuers arrive in Greece, Laurence is shocked when he and Elizabeth run into a woman who calls her 'Princess'!

"Elizabeth tries to talk her away out of the situation, insisting the woman must be mistaken," Mara says. But the woman is persistant, calling Elizabeth by name and saying that the prince has been impossible for the royal staff since she left him. Around this time, Laurence begins to realize that this 'Prince' the woman is talking about must be the man who kept Elizabeth from her family for so long, and he demands answers from her, reminding her that if she doesn't tell him everything then Jamie and Danny may lose Summer for 8 years or longer, just like Mike and Jamie had lost her.

The guilt trip works, of course, Elizabeth would do anything to protect Jamie from any more pain than he's already had in his 18 years. And finally the answer to the question of where Elizabeth was begins to come out.

"She she still doesn't tell the whole story," Mara reveals. "Certain parts, that she thinks are unimportant, get left out. Unfortunately thsoe parts may be the oens that are most important to finding Summer!"

Making Beautiful Music
It's taken her weeks of searching, but Theresa's finally found her mysterious savior from the Warehouse fire, and it's none other than Devon Smythe, grandson of a man long accussed of being the worst serial killer ever to hit Heaven Falls!

Theresa doesn't really care about the accusations against Devon's grandfather, she knows he's not his grandfather. But Devon doesn't want to face the stares and angry accusations he did as a child.

"For the majority of his life, since he was only 7 years-old, Devon has basically lived in seclusion, taught by private teachers, because of the hatred Heaven Falls feels for the Smythe family," Mara reveals. "But he's certian his grandfather, Victor, is innocent of the crime that popular opinion has convicted him of."

Theresa's determined to get to know her handsome hero, and doesn't understand the problem, not having been born when the murders were committed. But Devon is worried about doing anything to draw attention to himself, even though Theresa seems worth it.

Once A Princess
The truth about Elizabeth's missing years is out: She was being held by Ari Andros, a Greek man with long standing anomosity towards the Valles family. And to make it even more complicated, he was passing her off as a Princess, all the while holding her prisoner.

"Elizabeth didn't want anyone to know that while her family suffered, she was living the high life as Princess Elizabeth Valles," Mara reveals. "And it also reveals a long hidden secret of the Valles family: The really are royalty!"

As Elizabeth explains, her grandfather, Antonio, gave up his title to marry a beautiful peasant who he had fallen in love with. But the royal blood does flow through the Valles family veins, and this is why the Andros have targetted them.

"The branch of the Valles family still living in Europe has been dying out, it's down to only a few people," Mara continues. "And when they are gone, the royal titles will automatically be returned to the American branch of the family. Andros knows this, and wants to control the Valles' at all costs.

Troubled Love
After a year of marriage, Jen and Aaron have finally confessed their love for eachother. But it won't be smooth sailing, as Jen's first love, Dr. Drew Sanchez, returns to Heaven Falls with a shocking proposition: Marriage!

"Now that Jen is of age, it's not illegal for him and Jen to be together," Mara shares. "So Drew assumes that she'll give him a second chance and leave Aaron for him."

But Jen's happy with Aaron and their daughter, Katie, and she's not so sure she can forgive Drew for his treatment of her near the end of the relationship. But on the other hand, Aaron is so preoccupied with the problems facing his family that he's almost ignoring her, and Drew is offering the comfort and affection she wants and needs.

Family Strife
Trouble once again hits the Montoya family as Pilar is shot by an intruder in the Bodega. Theresa finds her after a night with Devon, exploring the tunnels that run underneath practically the entire town.

"Theresa blames herself that Pilar laid on the floor for hours, bleeding, while she was with Devon," Mara shares. "She thinks she should have been there to help, not realizing that she was, and still is, the target of the intruder! All because of her search for the truth so she can help clear Victor Smythe's name."

Now the Montoyas are praying for a miracle, as Pilar clings to life at Med Center. And another surprise is coming, as the long absent Pedro Montoya returns to town to see his ill ex-wife and their grieving daughter. Can Maria and Theresa forgive him for abandoning them 10 years ago? For not even returning home when Diego was killed?

Love Is In The Air
It's Valentine's day, and Theresa is thrilled with the knowledge that she has finally cracked through Devon's rock hard exterior and gotten him to admit he cares. But she's still longing to hear 3 little words that will take their relationship to the next level.

"Devon's had soem bad luck in love, and even though he is head over heels for Theresa, he's more than a little scared to admit it and leave his heart open to being broken," Mara shares. "Plus there's the age difference! Devon is 24, while Theresa is only 17. The majority of people would think there's something wrong about their relationship, even though Devon's been nothing but a gentleman when they're together."

And even with their happiness, a shadow lurks on the horizon as they get closer to finding out who was really behind the child abductions. Someone doesn't want the truth known, and they'll stop at nothing, even murder, to keep the secret.

"Antonio has always loved his Tia Pilar and his cousins, even though he rarely saw them ebcause of an old arguement between Pilar and Paloma," Mara shares. "And he's happy to have a chance to just relax and have fun instead of having to be responsible for an alchoholic like his mother. The last thing he wants is to hurt anyone. But his very presence will make Pilar face unpleasant memories from 17 years ago. She'll have to face the truth about both her sister, AND her ex-husband."
