Bean There - The campus coffee house, Bean There has 5 different outlets in different parts of the campus.

BLU - Brookline University, the school's nickname. They don't use BU because that refers to Boston University, a rival school. It's pronounced like "blue" which also happens to be a school color.

Commonsblock - The three housing areas each have one. It is a building that contains a cafeteria, computer labs, laundry rooms and other student facilities.

Communal - A type of dorm bathroom where there's one on each floor that everyone uses and rooms don't have their own bathroom facilities. Seen as worse than living in a suite.

The Dell - An area near the fields where students go to park.

Engineering Pond - A fountain in the middle of campus that the BLU engineers "own". The bottom of the fountain is painted with the engineering logos and colours.

Greek Road - One of the roads on campus, where many of the fraternity and sorority houses are located.

Half Moon - Pizza place in the Stu U.

Intramuruals - Sports teams that aren't varsity. Each dorm or sorority, or student organization can have their own team and compete against others in sports like futsal (indoor soccer), basketball, soccer, volleyball, badminton, and other sports.

Key Card - Like in modern hotels, the dorms and sorority houses don't use keys, but a key card to open doors.

Lone Wolf - The campus bar. A hot place to be on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Loop - The campus bus loop.

The Pen - The Student Recreation Centre, nicknamed the Pen because of the style of construction on the new building. Contains a pool, ice rink, gymnasiums and work out centre.

Res - Short for residence hall, the proper name for a dorm.

The Sandwich Factory - A sub and sandwich place inside the Stu U.

Stu U - The Student Union. A place where all BLU students will eventually go to hang out, study, meet friends, grab a snack etc.

Suite - A type of dorm where two people sharing a room also share a bathroom with another 2 person room.

Wolves Den - This refers to the campus clothing store, which sells athletic clothing and equipment.
