To Contribute within appropriate authority

to the maintenance and improvement of the

quality of life in the City of Raleigh through

fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue,

emergency medical and special services to

all who live, visit, work or invest here.

To this mission, the unselfish men and

women of the Raleigh Fire Department,

who hold duty above self, are dedicated.
