Algebra skills and three dimensional figures you would not think would go together. But you would be surprised. For instance in a problem that wants you to find the volume or area of a cube which is a three dimensional figure you can figure it out. Also to find the sides of a pyramid and on the three lines that make up a triangle and a side of the pyramid you are given a, b, and c. You could use the pythagrean theorem to figure out what kind of triangle that the side is. Three dimensional shapes and algebra go together whether we think so or not in fact three dimensional figures are everywhere we look.
