I entered the SEEDS ship, looking around at all of the people incased in their capsule-like sleep chambers. I designed the things, and Isaac Synders put in the sleep mechanism. Snyders was a genious, I had to give him credit for that. A heartless one, but a genious, none the less. He was going to be one of the people on the ship that was going to be incharge of the sleep control, and thus, was going to be awake the entire trip. God, I wish he'd just drop dead, personally. But he was in control of countless lives on this ship... And my little Legacy.... I didn't want to leave him, nor did I want to leave Kenny... Kenny... God... Why did you have to go and die? Do you think a cynical ass such as myself is worthy of your Rem? I'm not. And Legacy... Be strong. I'm a horrible father, aren't I? Leaving you alone... 'Dad, I'm fine...' It's Legacy talking to me. 'Thank god!' "Sugara, this way." Oh, speak of the devil. It's Synders. 'I'll see you, Legacy... I love you...' I followed Synders through the ship, to the inner most chambers. For the hell of it, I thought that I might as well start up a nice, friendly conversation. "Nice job with the sleep capsule mechanisms," I said. He turned to me, smirking. "Only the best from me. Without your design, it would have failed though," Synders replied. "Well, thanks. I just want, you know, to get everyone off safely. I wouldn't want to be cramped inside of an uncomforatable box. And I doubt that the world's population would want to be, either." "Ha ha ha, yeah. It's great if you're human. That's what I designed these for." Oh. My. God. "What if the occupant was a...Plant?" I asked. I really didn't want to know the answer to my question. Synder stopped infront of my chamber and raised an eyebrow. "I doubt they would go into the sleep. They are higher-energy beings than us. It would take an assload of this stuff to knock them out." He thumped a hand on a tank of the gas which triggered the sleep. It was his pride and joy. "A lot more than you or I or any one else." I stumbled back slightly. Legacy wasn't all Plant, and he definately wasn't all human. "W-well, what if the subject was half-Plant and half- human? Like... Legacy?" "The hell if I know. Get in, Sugara." He helped me into the chamber, and I layed down. I didn't even have time to think about the last thing I was going to say to him in reply. He was already lowering the front of the capsule. I started to drift into sleep. My eyes closed, too peacefully for my tastes. Legacy... Legacy, what have I done to you?! LEGACY?! __________________________________________ __________________________________________ ((Long time, no update! Sorry about that! I couldn't think of what (more like who's POV) to do next... That's why it took so long... (((.X. And I'm sorry that I write such short chapters... It's the thought process for the series. It's intended to be like this, to be like how they think. I *swear* the next two chapters will be longer than hell (or at least longer than this one...)! Hehehehehe!))
