Lynn Rae Slavin 57, of Huntington, WV died Wednesday,
December 20, 2000, at her residence of natural causes.
Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday in
Ridgelawn Abbey of Devotion by Monsignor Lawrence
Luciana. Burial will follow. She was born June 12,
1943, in Huntington, WV, daughter of the late Ray O.
and Jean Alderson Slavin. She was a graduate of
Marshall University and taught Speech and Drama at
Providence College and Gannon College. She loved
animals, music, and the theatre. She was a member of
St. Joseph Church, Huntington. She is survived by
one aunt, Jewell Bennett Ward of North Canton, OH;
one uncle, Gail Alderson of Fredericksburg, VA; and
one special cousin, Lee Ann Blankenship of Kent, OH.
