About HHS Tech Crew
        Harrison Tech Crew is a selected group of students in charge of planning and controlling all technical and backstage  aspects of the productions at Farmington Harrison High School.  Since 2002, a new system of operation and leadership has been designed and run by members of the crew.  This system helps break down the complexity of tech in a production into smaller, more managable sections, each controlled by an appointed crew cheif under a higher leadership.

Tech Coordinator: The Tech Coordinator position is responsible for all the actions of the tech crew. It is their job to oversee the entire technical operation, and work closly with the crew heads to insure smooth progress. It is also their duty to maintain order by addressing any problems and making the calls relating to tech along with the show director.

Assistant Technical Coordinator: The Assistant Tech Coordinator is responsible backing up all knowledge of the Tech Coordinator incase he may not be able to attend an event, meeting, etc.  When a Tech Coordinator retires, the assistant will fill the place and appoint a new assistant.

Stage Manager:
A Stage Manager is reponsible for maintaining order and smooth operation for anything going on backstage.  They will assist members of the cast and stage crew with concerns as well as give the nessesary orders to fix the problem.

Properties Crew Head
:  A Properties Manager is responsible  for locating or making as well as storing and moving all the nessesary props used in a performance.  During a performance, the properties manager will also act as the stage manager, responsible directing traffic backstage, positioning props for the next scene, and addressing the concerns of the stage hands.

Publicity Manager
:  A Publicity Manager is responsible for organizing and designing all the advertisement and information for the public in order to gain the most attention from the audience.  This includes such things as shirt design, poster and written advertisment design, as well as program or booklet design.  After the advertisements and information have been created, a properties manager is responsible for insurring the distribution of the work.

Costume/ Makeup Manager
:  A Costume/ Makeup Manager is responsible two main tasks.  First, collecting, maintaining, and storing the costumes used in a performance.  Second to assist in applying the stage makeup for the actors as well as maintaining and storing the supply.  Generally members of the comtume/ makeup crew will arrive an hour or more earlier than the rest of crew depending on given call times.

Lighting/ Sound
:  Lighting and sound technicians are generally the first members of crew to be called for rehearsals.  Each technician is responsible knowing the functions of their board and developing notes to operate their controls smoothly and successfully.
