Organizing at HHT
This is a blog dedicated to the union organizing activity at HHT.
An important step for us...
The Employee Free Choice Act has been passed by the House today. I would like you to listen to some of the representatives that have shared their stories. Please listen to Rep. Phil Hare from IL, who says "he wouldn't be here, if it wasn't for his union...". Rep. John Hall from NY shares a story about a company that is owned by an organization that is 96% union, but doesn't recognize the workers that are trying to unionize. Sound familiar? "Good enough for others, but not for our employees". You can hear these at:

I would also like to share with you a couple other issues that have come to my attention. I noticed that a couple of our accounts are supporting the Employee Free Choice Act: King County and United Methodist Church. You can see the resolution that were drafted by each:

King County Support
UMC Support

You can see the complete list at:

Who Supports the EFCA?

Recently, a few of you had your annual reviews. Some didn't get a raise, while others got less than a cost of living adjustment. The favorites either got more or a promotion. Come on HHT, quit screwing us over!

How many of you are going to sit there idle and let this opportunity pass you by. It doesn't matter if you have been there less than a year or just a couple months. You have the right to organize and demand better pay and working conditions. Otherwise, let HHT give you the shaft. They have been doing it to us for years...
