A big thumbs up to ATU Local 587 in Seattle, WA

What ATU Local 587 has to say about HHT

Again, thanks for the support!!!

Note:

Here is the follow-up e-mail:

Hi again,

I printed your last two e-mails (below) in our union's news letter the News Review. The preverbal poop hit the fan. I’m told King County Metro contacted Harris Health Trends demanding clarification of your allegations and Harris denied your allegations. I’m told King County Metro has also attempted to contact United Food and Commercial Workers Local 911 in Holland, OH. to inquire as to the status of your negotiations.

King County Washington (Seattle) is in one of the most liberal areas of the United States and its residents are for the most part pro-union. Even our managers are union. The contract between King County Metro and Harris Health Trends stands little chance of being renewed if your union organizing efforts aren’t respected.

Go to http://www.atu587.com The April 2007 News Review link is on the right side of the page. You’ll find the article containing your previous e-mails on page 11.

Our members would appreciate a follow-up on how your organizing efforts are progressing and our management is dreading the next issue. Please respond with what you’d like published in our news letter.

Paul J. Bachtel
Recording Secretary
Local 587
