Lindsey Christy

Lindsey's surgery by Professor Rosenfeld was on March 19, 2002 in Melbourne. Everything went well and the surgery took less than three hours! We will know more about how much of the tumor the Professor got in a few days. So far Lindsey continues to do extremely well, and has only experienced appetite problems to date.

Lindsey was deemed a total CURE from the dreaded HH! Professor Rosenfeld AND Simon Harvey said that they got 100% of Lindsey's tumor. Lindsey has had no seizures since March 31st, 2002, and her behavior and cognition is excellent. Transient appetite problems lasted about 2 months, but that is the only side effect we saw in any form. I am in so much awe of this cure for Lindsey that I am making it my top priority to get the docs up to the US to heal as many kids as can get in to see them, as well as to hand off the technology and thinking of these wonderful Australian Doctors. 

Lindsey is awesome, and her new goal in life is to get her driver's license!
