The Setting:
"Oh, upper classman Kuno! How I wish we could stay like this forever." Akane Tendo said as she held Kuno as tightly as she could in her grasp. Akane was dressed only in a big yellow ribbon, tied in a giant bow.
"Oh...Akane Tendo." Kuno replied. "Each second like this is a week of pleasure. And what of you, Pig-Tailed Girl?" Kuno looked over his shoulder to see his red-haired goddes equally intertwined from behind. She was dressed like Akane, but in a red bow.
"Oh...but being too happy in thine happiness - that thou, light winged Dryad of the trees, In some melodious plot of beechen green, and shadows numberless, singest of summer in full throated ease."
Kuno came back to the real world as he recited his verse. He was still face down in the dirt where he had been speaking to the fair Akane Tendo. He rolled to face the sky, but vision was still blurry. A figure stood near him. It must be Akane Tendo! "Surely I dreamt to-day, or did I see the winged Psyche with awaken'd eyes? I..." Kuno started.
"Shut up!!" Said the form in a harsh tone, certainly not that of Akane Tendo. Kuno rose quickly to his feet and saw a brash man in a white baseball outfit.
"And who might you be?" Kuno asked with complete indiffernce.
"As if you didn't know!" The kid yelled, waving his baseball bat dangerously near Kuno's head. Kuno simply took his standard Kendo stance. "You're the guy who made the mistake of messing with my school and my fellow classmates and I am going to bring you to justice!"
"Clearly, you are mistaken. I am the rising star of the Kendo World. I do not "mess with" people's schools. Perhaps you are thinking of my sister."
"No! A guy with a sword! That's you!"
"Very well...if you are insistant on fighting the noble scion of the Kuno family, I will be happy to oblige."
"In the name of my school, I will defeat you!"

I think this is a pretty evened out fight. Kuno has the speed and skill in close range fighting and would probably get a lot of hits in, but if Shoma hit Kuno with his Grand Slam Smash, Kuno would be sent into low Earth orbit. Shoma can also keep Kuno at a distance with his baseballs. I'd say it'll be a close match, but I think Shoma will win.

This is a tough call. Kuno is a skilled kendoist despite how easily beaten he is by Ranma. Most normal opponents would have a hard time with Kuno, since he can sustain large amounts of punishment. Shoma, on the other hand, has a baseball bat with him along with projectiles (baseballs). Both have their weaknesses, Shoma's anger and Kuno's lack of hand-to-hand skills. I would say Kuno by a slim margin.
Tyler
Shoma will win because, unlike Kuno, he has ranged attacks. Also, Shoma takes his fights seriously while Kuno is always on a permanent vacation to La La Land.

This is a tough one, and evenly matched. Shoma might be an overall better fighter than Kunou, but I can already see him somewhat angry. And chances are, Kunou will throughly piss him off. Combined with Kunou's superior speed, and the loss of control on Shoma's part, it'll end up with a win in Kunou's hands.

Both characters suffer from the same basic drawbacks....rage, dependence on weapons, and lack of improvisation... meanwhile Kuno has the advantage of usually sparring with a much better class of martial artist....also Kuno has more attacks than his profile states...the profile neglects to mention that virtually every strike Kuno throws extends from a few inches out to several yards away from his bokken...the air pressure wakes are the most dangerous thing about Kuno...so basically you have two martial artists from with the same schools of thought and the same personality flaws *as far as fighting is concerned, Kuno's failure to see reality doesn't affect him much here* but Kuno has the advantage of experience.
The Fight:
"In the name of Gorin High School, I shall crush you!" Shoma screamed out. He aimed his bat directly at Kuno and with his other hand, prepared the first ball for play.
"Very well, challenge and learn! I, the Blue Thunder of Furin..." Kuno was stopped in mid-statement when a baseball firmly impacted itself into Kuno's noble face. Kuno used some minor effort to peel the ball off. The indents of the stitching marked Kuno's face.
"That was just a warm up! You better change your name to Black and Blue Thunder!" Shoma snickered at his own joke.
"Bad enough I am challenged by such an amateur, but I must also listen to the rudimentary attempts at humor that your obvious low-class background has to offer." Kuno looked pained.
"Try this for humor! FAST BALL!" Shoma hurled another baseball at Kuno, but the Kendo champion not only stopped it with one swing, but cut the ball in half. Shoma stopped in his tracks, not expecting that result at all.
"Did you think to catch me unawares again? I the noble scion of the House of Kuno? This fight is already over!" Kuno prepared his bokken for the next move.
"SHUT UP!" Shoma screamed. "HUNDRED BALLS!!" Shoma shrieked, unleashing a torrent of baseballs. Kuno readied his sword and began to swing it back and forth at an incredible speed. He knocked each ball away with minimal effort. The balls flew off in various directions. It almost looked like Kuno was the center of a small fireworks display.
"You looked stunned." Kuno mused to Shoma. "Compared to my sister, you are as threatening as the morning dew." Kuno aimed his sword at his opponent and suddenly looked much more threatening. "Do you wish to continue this farce?"
"THE FIGHT IS ONLY BEGINNING!" Shoma charged forward. He swung his bat like a tetsubo, aiming for Kuno's midsection, but Kuno was able to block the strike. Shoma spun off the deflection to try to strike Kuno in the legs, but Kuno saw the attack coming and moved his own weapon to stop the attack. The sound of wood smashing on wood could be heard for blocks. Shoma continued to try to use his bat as a sword, but it was a losing battle. This is where Kuno shined. Kuno scored a hit past Shoma's bat, striking him the stomach. Shoma crumpled over, allowing Kuno to follow up with a downward pelt off of Shoma's head.
Shoma hit the ground with a terrible sound. As Kuno went in for the final hit, Shoma was able to roll over to where he had dropped his bat. Kuno tried to strike Shoma as he was rolling, but only left craters in the ground where he missed. Shoma grabbed the bat and rose once more to his feet.
"This is the end!" Shoma spat as he turned to Kuno. "GRAND SLAM SMASH!!!" Shoma's bat glowed with an unknown power and he wound up to swing his final attack. The bat moved with blinding speed, ready to knock Kuno straight out of his conciousness. However, as the bat moved in it's certain path, Kuno brought down his own sword with a fierce speed. The bokken cut Shoma's bat in half. The section of the bat that had been cut loose hurled off into the wall and burried itself half way. Shoma spun with the force of his swing and fell to his feet. He looked at the pathetic remains of his bat in a stunned silence.
All sound seemed to have been removed...the world was in a vacuum.
Then the silence was broken. Kuno brought down his bokken and knocked Shoma to the ground with such a fierce hit, that Shoma was not getting up for the rest of that day.
"Victory as predicted." Kuno sighed.
"Wow, Kuno-baby." A familliar voice came from nearby.
Kuno turned. "You actually sound impressed, Nabiki Tendo."
"I hate to admit it, but you were really something today. Have you actually been practicing?"
Nabiki walked up to Kuno.
"Oh please, this was more like an exercise than an actual fight. That wastling should have feared my prowess with the sword." Kuno flicked his hair back into place.
"None-the-less... I think you deserve a reward for this fight...so I will let you walk me home." Nabiki grinned.
"Very well. It is common in the codes of chivalry to escort maidens home." Kuno put his sword over his shoulder and accompanied Nabiki down the sidewalk.
"Thanks Kuno-baby." Nabiki smiled. "Seeing how I have some new photos."
"Photos?" Kuno suddenly sounded much more interested.

Wow! I was hoping Kuno would win.... but for him to win by such a landslide! Thanks for your votes... It was fun writing Kuno winning... and winning well. See you next time.
