Dream

Disclaimer: All characters in Yu Yu Hakusho are the property of Togashi sama. I'm just. using his characters for my fic.

Note: In this fic, our powerful Kurama is now powerless and is an ordinary person. He doesn't know Hiei or other Reikai or Makai things. He is just Shuichi Minamino but Hiei wanted to reveal he true Kurama and get him back to himself. It's just like curing a person from Amnesia. And yes, please excuse me if you find this fic very unlogic, it's because I wrote it base on my dream 4 years ago ^_^. Arigato.

Shuichi was sitting by the windowsill. It was a starry and windy night. It was his 17th birthday too. Unfortunately, no one celebrated it with him. He was now living on his own, since he had thought that he was old enough to be independent. Sometimes he does feel a bit bored with his simple life and all his company were just some plants that he adored so much.

Just when he was admiring this beautiful night, a shooting star suddenly flew across the sky. He made a wish. And *he* stood right there in front of him.

"Gulp. Maybe my wish had really came true!" Shuichi thought silently.

Standing on the windowsill was a guy dressed all in black. He had fiery red eyes which could make anyone swoon over him when they see them. He also had dark, spiky hair and a stern face. Shuichi stared at him with much interest. Shuichi rubbed his eyes and blinked several times.

The person Shuichi was looking at drew out his sword and pointed it towards his face. Sweat drops began to form on Shuichi's forehead. He was a calm person, he didn't want to make the matter worse. He was still thinking that this was all a dream. The bishonen then positioned his sword near Shuichi's neck. Too near. Shuichi could sense death.

"Wh…who are you?" Shuichi finally said, shakily.

    Silence.

"Please, please put down your sword first," he pleaded.

The bishonen stared at Shuichi and put the sword down. The edge of the sword caused a wound on Shuichi's neck. As he wanted to touch his neck to see if he was wounded, the other person approached, held his hand, gently and lick the blood that was flowing down his neck.

"You'll be fine in a few minutes," the person finally said something with his deep, husky voice.

    "Gomen," he added softly.

Shuichi was too shock to say a word because it happened within seconds! He can feel his red face boil when that guy held his hands. So finally, Shuichi just gave him a slight smile.

"I'm Shuichi Minamino. You are Hiei right?" he asked.

Responding to Shuichi's answer, Hiei was surprised. He wasn't suppose to remember me yet. Why? Another reason Hiei was surprised was because Shuichi didn't complain about that wound and on why didn't he react like other Ningen that would be terrorized when seeing him. Shuichi himself was also startled on why he had asked that and how that name had come out from his mouth.

"You are going to help me right?" Hiei asked this assuming Kurama has already regained his memories.

    "Huh?" Shuichi was puzzled.

"So….you still haven't recover yet. Sorry for bothering you. Jya!" Hiei said sadly.

"Matte, matte. I've no idea what the heck you are talking about. Please sit down and explain," Shuichi urged, giving Hiei a disappointed and worried look.

"Kurama……I don't know if we should discuss about this. You haven't regain your memory yet. I don't want you to drag into this trouble," Hiei explain with much concern.

"Kurama……." Shuichi mimicked. Is that what he used to call me? Have I met him before? Who is he?

"I'm looking for my teargem. Karasu has stole it. He put a spell on me. As you can see I'm now transparent, you can't touch me. Only when I use my youki only then can I be my normal self. I need that teargem, you know it's precious to me," Hiei told him.

Shuichi was confused. He didn't know what Hiei was talking about. What teargem? Karasu? Spell? Looking at him, Hiei remembered that Kurama still had amnesia.

"No you don't," Hiei remembered himself.

"Look, look. How can I help you? I'm just an ordinary person," Shuichi said, trying to understand.

"You are not ordinary. You are Youko Kurama. You have the powers nobody else have," Hiei told, drawing closer to him.

    "Eh?" Shuichi was more confused.

And so Hiei explain the whole thing to him. What he is, actually. Where Reikai and Makai are. Their team mates. Their battles. Everything, including their relationship.

Shuichi blushed as he listen to Hiei about their relationship. Hiei was feeling uneasy too when he was talking about that. When he had finished the story, Shuichi was still looking lovingly at him. He hasn't noticed that Hiei had already finished talking. He drew near to Hiei, nearer and nearer, until their lips nearly touch. Suddenly the water had finished boiling. The whistle from the pot stopped Shuichi from making another move. He quickly stood up and ran to the kitchen. His face was as hot as the boiling water. He had always been a calm person. But that night was different. Hiei was there, and he had attempted to kiss him!

At last Shuichi when back to his room trying to look like nothing had happened. But then Hiei was no where to be seen. Feeling disappointed, Shuichi fell onto his bed and put his hands behind his head.

The next night, Shuichi sat at the windowsill to wait for him. He had a feeling that he will drop by that night. But he waited too long. It was already 2a.m but Hiei's shadow hadn't even appeared. Shuichi began to give up. He went to bed but he left the window open wide. Hiei might come at any minute.

Later that night, a familiar shadow show up, standing on the windowsill. He was Hiei. By that time, Shuichi was sleeping peacefully. Hiei looked at him and sigh. Finally, he had to be involved too.

"Oi, Kurama. Wake up!" Hiei shouted.

That sleepyheaded Kurama made no movement. Hiei began to lose his temper. He grumbled and went towards Shuichi's bed and took him by the collar and shook him.

"Kurama. Kurama are you dead?" Hiei asked.

Shuichi opened his eyes lazily to see Hiei sitting that close to him.

    He jerked and……..

"Come," Hiei commanded. He took Shuichi's hand and headed towards the windowsill.

Shuichi struggled and shook off his hand from Hiei's grip.

"Where are you taking me?" Shuichi asked strangely.

Hiei didn't respond to his question because he wasn't sure too. But he grab Shuichi's hand again but when he wanted to take another step forward, demons appeared from the windowsill.

He threw Shuichi into his closet before those ugly looking creatures started attacking him. Shuichi heard some fighting noises from the closet and was curious. He opened a small space to see what's going on. Suddenly the whole closet door flung open and broke into pieces. Shuichi was too shocked to let out any noise. There were 2 ugly looking creatures holding knives and wanting to chop him.

"Korosu!" they shouted. Shuichi hugged himself tightly and shut his eyes. No!

    "Argh!"

Hiei attacked from behind, slicing the two creatures with his sharp sword.

    "Come!" Hiei urge.

There's nothing Shuichi can do so he followed him.

They arrive in a deserted place out of the town at dawn. Far away from Shuichi's view lay a large Elizabethan castle in the forest. There were no other people staying there except for them. It was an old hotel. They walked in and Hiei sensed strong youki, while Shuichi didn't like the place a bit. The workers there have those murderous eyes. A tall guy brought them up to their room. The room prepared for them was a suite. A luxurious suite with those 18th centuries' decorations, a fireplace, a window that faces the forest, dim lamps and a large bed. One large bed. Shuichi's heart skipped a beat.

"Here, change this," Hiei said while throwing some clothes to Kurama.

    Kurama himself was shocked.

    "Kurama," Hiei said.

    "Hai," he replied obediently.

"That man who brought us here is a demon," he said.

    "I know,"

"….." Hiei raised an eyebrow on Shuichi's statement.

"I saw those horns on his head. I'm not afraid though. I don't know why. Maybe it's because you are here," he blurted. Shuichi was stunned at the words he had said just now. Because you are here…

"But I don't understand why we must stay here if it's that dangerous," Shuichi asked.

"Staying anywhere will be the same," Hiei explained.

    There was silence for awhile.

"They'll wait for us everywhere. If you sense anything going wrong, just leave. I can handle myself," Hiei finally spoke.

"No. I can't leave you. I came to help you, remember? And I do care about you," Shuichi said quickly.

He recalled his last line and blushed. It's better that I just keep my mouth shut. Meanwhile, Hiei was quite amazed by his words. Why is he talking like this when he doesn't remember me? This kitsune. There's only one way to find out. Hiei gazed directly into his eyes. He moves closer to the timid Shuichi. Shuichi heart was pounding swiftly and he stepped backwards. He lost his balance and stumbled on the floor, dragging Hiei down as well. It was an advantage for Hiei as now he was on the same level as he was. His hands were beside Shuichi's. He crawled closer to the red-haired boy and moved his left hand to touch Kurama's face, pulling him closer. They nearly kissed ………..

Some ugly looking creatures smashed into the room and started to attack Shuichi. Hiei jumped up and got ready to defend Shuichi, while he just sat there watching the fight. Suddenly an ugly looking creature took his hand and another raised up an axe and tried to kill him. Seeing this, Hiei ran to the rescue. He protected Kurama by hugging him to prevent the axe to slash him. The axe land on Hiei's back

    "IYA!!!" Kurama screamed.

A sudden shiver ran through his body. Without thinking, a rose whip formed and rose from his hair, killing all the creatures instantly.

    "Hiei!" Kurama shouted.

Hiei was deeply injured but he was not dead yet. Kurama took a few herbs from his hair and with some youki, he put the herbs onto Hiei's back. Hiei growled in pain. Kurama questioned himself. He can feel he was not quite himself, he felt like another person. He then placed Hiei on the bed and put his hand on Hiei's face to caress it.

Kurama watched Hiei as he slept. He was such a handsome and charming guy. Hen leaned against him and wanted to kiss him when suddenly a paper came out from his waist belt. He unfolds it and read.

The most precious treasure you must find,

Among the things in your mind,

Within a month is your time,

Or your body will be mine.

Kurama had always wondered why Hiei covered his forehead with the cloth. As he reached forward to touch it, Hiei said something. Kurama leaned closer to listen.

    "Kurama, don't go!" he said.

"Hiei, I'm not going anywhere," Kurama comforted him. He really like the way Hiei called him Kurama.

With a swift movement, Hiei grabbed Kurama's arm and pull him close to his chest. He was not doing it on purpose. He was just dreaming.

    "Kurama…" he murmured.

"Ai…..shi…..te…." Hiei spoke with much difficulty and stopped.

Kurama's eyes widen when he heard him saying those words. Though the phrase hasn't completed yet, he knew what he wanted to say. Kurama felt exactly the same way for him. They remained in the same position until night came.

    "Water, water," Hiei coughed.

Kurama quickly pour some water from the jug for Hiei and helped him up. Hiei immediately sensed the strong youki from Kurama's body.

"What happened to you?" Hiei asked impatiently.

"I…I don't know. When you were fighting and protecting me…" Kurama explained blushing a bit.

"You got slashed by a creature. Then suddenly a whip formed out of my hair and defeated all those things," Kurama ended.

"Kurama, you mustn't remain like this, you'll be in great danger," Hiei said with much concern.

His partner didn't respond immediately. Finally he spoke.

"Get more rest," he said with a smile.

Hiei obeyed but was worried about him.

It was dark and late already. It was raining heavily and thunder was heard and lightning strikes. Kurama couldn't close his eyes. His fear of thunder and lightning kept him awake. Of course there was another reason. No, it was two more reasons. He was worried if Hiei would wake up and might need something. And also because he had no place to sleep. Hiei slept on the bed and he just sat on the chair beside the bed. He was too embarrassed to sleep with him anyway. He just lay his head onto the bed while admiring the dark cloudy sky. Lightning suddenly flashed. Kurama was frightened. He wanted to be close to Hiei to have some comfort and security. But he didn't move but just gripped the bed sheet tightly. The sound of the thunder finally made Kurama take the initiative to snuggle up to sleep with Hiei. He covered himself with the blanket Hiei was using up to his neck. He was such a baby!

"Hiei?" Kurama asked to checked if he was sound asleep.

    "Hn," Hiei replied.

Uh oh. He wasn't asleep yet.

"Um…I'm sorry but I'm just afraid of the lightning," Kurama explained.

The lightning strikes again. This time Kurama squeezed Hiei's arm. Hiei was surprised but he didn't make any reaction.

"I'm sorry," Kurama apologized. He was feeling very tense.

And so to avoid any misunderstanding, Kurama turned his back to Hiei and looked out the window. Now he can try to get some sleep. When he was just about to enter dreamland, Hiei pulled him out of it by moving his hands to Kurama's waist. He was stunned, his eyes wide open. At first he thought Hiei was dreaming but then…..

"Kurama…" Hiei whispered through his ears.

    "Aishiteru," he continued.

"Mo aishiteru," Kurama answered with his eyes closed.

Hiei squeezed him more. Kurama turned to face him. It was dark but Kurama can still manage to see his face. They kissed. The kiss was so familiar to Kurama, like he had done it a million times. But it was always different, in the sense that Hiei has the most lustrous lips that tasted so good. Hiei's hands were moving all around his body. His lips moved from his chin to his neck. Kurama moaned with pleasure. Hiei's hands explored his body and he arrived at a place which ningen called the butt, a very sensitive part. Kurama was tensed a bit for the skillfulness of Hiei. He caressed that part and squeezed it. He ran his hands to Kurama's zipper. Unzipped it and…

    "Hiei!" Kurama shouted.

    "Shhh…." Hiei commanded.

Kurama pushed Hiei away and looked directly into his eyes.

    "Please stop," he pleaded.

"No," Hiei answered shortly and continue with his unfinished business.

    "Hiei…..please," Kurama whispered again.

Hiei pretended that he didn't hear him.

"….." Kurama sobbed and a tear slide down from his cheek.

Seeing his sorrowful eyes, Hiei stopped with much hesitation. He then sat on the edge of the bed and avoided looking into his eyes.

    "Doshite?" he asked coldly.

"I'm not ready," he replied innocently.

"Damn you, Kurama. We had done this over a thousand times. Now you are telling me you are not ready?" Hiei changed his tone into a colder one.

Kurama didn't make a noise. Am I this useless? I can't remember anything.

"Kurama, I'm not forcing you but…this is our last time," Hiei said softly.

    "I don't understand," Kurama said.

"The note. You read it. It said the most precious treasure. It means you, baka. Karasu wants you. He wants me to exchange you for the teargem. I couldn't do it. Tomorrow I'll surrender myself, I'll try to take the teargem back …..if I could. I don't want you to be involved," Hiei explained.

Kurama went to Hiei's side and hugged him, tight. Very tight like he'll never let him go. NO! Hiei……

"Don't go," Kurama whispered and weeping.

    Hiei just smiled.

Kurama slept only before dawn. When he woke up, Hiei was nowhere to be seen. He searched the place and found him in the bathroom. He hugged him.

"You didn't leave me!" Kurama exclaimed thankfully. Hiei just stood there, dumbfounded. Kurama sensed that something was wrong, very wrong. Hiei's body was wet from the shower. Kurama loosened his hug and found that Hiei was naked.

    "Hn,"

"Gomen!" Kurama shouted, rushed out of the room and slammed the door behind him. His face was bright red!

When Hiei was finished, he went towards Kurama and stole a kiss from him.

"Hiei!" Kurama yelled but he secretly loved that special morning kiss.

Later that morning, Hiei brought Kurama to a sea cliff near the forest. They just sat there admiring the sea and the sound of wave. Kurama sat, cuddling his legs while Hiei stood one led up and put his arm on top of his knee.

Both of them did not speak a word. Kurama who was feeling a bit bored started to rock himself forward and backwards. He glanced a few times at Hiei who was sitting in front of him. Hiei…… After a few more moments, Hiei finally spoke.

    "Kurama?" he asked.

    "Hai," Kurama replied.

"Are you happy being with me?" he asked again.

    Eh?

    "Y…yes," he responded.

"Kurama, will you live together with me if I manage to get the teargem back?" Hiei demanded.

"What are you trying to tell me?" Kurama asked back, sensing a bad omen.

"Will you?" he asked again, turning to face Kurama. The morning sun shone from the back of Hiei made the scene looked so romantic.

"Of course," Kurama answered, giving Hiei one of his sweetest smile.

    "I'm serious," Hiei emphasized.

"So am I," Kurama told him, now in a more serious tone.

"Kurama…" he started but was cut off by Kurama putting his index finger to his lips.

"Listen, although I may have lost my memories but my feelings towards you are true. I may have loved you before I had lost my memories but I love you now. Maybe even more. No matter, even if you will always remain like this or not. I'll always be with you. So please don't doubt my feelings for you," Kurama said closing his eyes, putting his hands at the back of Hiei and rested his head on Hiei's.

Hiei can only manage a smile. A beautiful, enchanting smile.

After that, Kurama left Hiei by the cliff and he himself went into the forest to collect some herbs for Hiei's wound. From the distance, he can see the hotel clearly. An unexpected figure appeared at the roof. Kurama looked at it strangely. He saw a man dressed all in black with very long silky hair. He also wore a mask covering his face, only revealing his shining violet eyes. He seems to be smiling at Kurama. Kurama smiled back and the figure disappeared. < I wonder who he is.> Kurama went back to the hotel after sunsets. He searched for Hiei and wanted to ask him about the masked man.

    "Hiei," he called.

    Hiei suddenly appeared from nowhere.

"Hn," he answered and looked exhausted.

"I want to ask you something. Have you seen a guy with long hair and wears a mask somewhere in this hotel?" he asked.

    Hiei was shocked.

    "No, I haven't," he replied.

"Ok, but I saw him today and he smiled at me. I suppose he must be a nice person," Kurama suggested innocently.

Hiei was clutching his fists when he heard Kurama talking about Karasu. To prevent Kurama from being suspicious, he calmed down himself and relaxed. He must act fast before Karasu could get his hands on Kurama.

That night, both of them slept peacefully. Kurama woke up in the middle of the night. He sat up and studied Hiei's face. The beautiful and charming face. A tear scroll down Kurama's face and he kissed Hiei. He knew that will be their last one since Kurama will leave Hiei afterwards. He made it longer and more passionate. Hiei kissed him back dreamily. He left a note for Hiei before leaving. He left a seed on top of the note.

    My dearest Hiei,

I'm leaving now. When you read this message, I may have already disappeared in this world And you'll be back to normal.

    Remember,

    I LOVE YOU……

    ALWAYS

    Sayonara,

    Kurama.

Kurama's heart beat heavily on his way to a place he's not even sure he's going to. Only his legs carried him to wherever that place was. He encountered the masked man again. He thought that maybe he could ask him the way to surrender himself to Karasu.

"Excuse me. Do you know where I can find Karasu?" Kurama asked.

    "Hahahaha," Karasu laughed and nodded.

He then brought Kurama into a dark and smoky room and close the door behind him. The place was pitch dark. Kurama had to walk carefully. Suddenly a pair of hands crawled behind his neck. Kurama flung himself backwards and punch the person but he felt no one.

"Come out now from wherever you are!" Kurama commanded. He was afraid of the loneliness and darkness out the unfamiliar room.

"My lovely Kurama…" a voice was heard.

Kurama looked around but found nothing.

"You are as sweet and innocent as before. Hasn't my spells put any effect on you?" he spoke again.

The voice of the person sent a shiver down his spine. Karasu. He must be Karasu. Where the hell is he?

"I didn't expected your lover boy to sacrifice you for this stupid teargem. He made my work easier, hahahaha," Karasu laughed wickedly.

"No! He didn't . I came here with my own will," Kurama said bravely.

"Oh, have you forgotten how I treated you last time? I thought you hated it, you were screaming like hell that time. Have I put a spell that strong on you until you had forgotten about it?" Karasu asked sarcastically.

"So you were the one who had made me lose all my memories!" Kurama yelled.

"Hahaha," Karasu laughed even louder. The lights in the room were finally turned on.

"You!" Kurama exclaimed, his eyes widen.

Karasu was clearly seen sitting on a throne-like chair. He was waiting patiently to see Kurama's expression.

    "Welcome!" he greeted.

"What do you want from me to exchange with Hiei's teargem?" Kurama asked directly.

    "Good question," Karasu praised.

"I want your body, your soul, everything you possess," he added.

"Deal. But you must first give me the teargem and let Hiei leave this place first," Kurama indicated.

"Do you think I'll do that, my sweet Kurama?" Karasu asked seriously.

    "Nani!?" Kurama exclaimed.

"Hahaha, now you are here. I can do whatever I wish," he said, standing up slowly and walked towards Kurama.

"Show me Youko. It has been a long time since I last seen him," Karasu whispered in his ears, tugging up his chin.

"Don't touch me!" Kurama cried and shove off Karasu's hand from his chin. Karasu took off his mask as a sign to challenge him.

"Well, maybe I can consider setting your Hiei free," Karasu said.

"Grrrrr….." Kurama knew he would not keep his promise. But at least if he try maybe Karasu will consider. But how am I going to turn into Youko? I don't know how. Shit!

"Well? Forgotten how to transform into Youko, dear Kurama?" he teased. Karasu saw a positive answer in Kurama's face and he laugh. Kurama stared angrily at him.

"Let me help you," Karasu offered and went to Kurama and kissed him. Kurama pushed him away but he kept kissing him. Finally Kurama struggle and accidentally bit Karasu's lips.

    "Kuso," Karasu swore.

Kurama was feeling very dizzy and weak. His head was in pain and it was like bursting. A pair of ears appeared on his head. His hair gradually changed from red to silver. A tail grown on his back and his clothes changed into a simple white garment. His eyes too slowly changed from big, green emerald to those sexy, shining, golden ones. His usual lean body has become more muscular. His expression became colder and steadier. Karasu looked at the transformation with lustful eyes. He felt like raping him in that instant.

    "Hisashiburi ne?" Youko greeted.

The seductive voice made Karasu weak on the knees.

    "Sou, sou," he agreed.

Youko took a seed from his hair and tossed it up and down several times.

"Don't challenge me, Karasu. You know what the consequences will be," Youko warned.

"Well, I'm quite ready for that. There's no turning back," Karasu smirked.

The seed Youko was tossing around turned into a Makai plant, the most dangerous one. He used it to fight against Karasu while Karasu has already prepared some poisonous explosives for that purpose. The fight had begun …..

On the other hand, Hiei was awakened suddenly by a nightmare. He dreamt of Kurama being killed by Karasu. When he looked for him, he was no where to be seen. He immediately saw the note on the table.

    "Damn!" Hiei cursed.

"You were defeated once and you shall be defeated once more," Karasu said confidently. He licked the wound on his hands. Both sides were quite deeply injured.

"We'll see about that," Youko challenged.

Hiei sensed a strong youki coming out from a room and dashed into it.

"Kurama!" he cried without even checked if he's in there or not.

Youko Kurama looked into his direction and allowed Karasu to attack.

"Shi ne!" Karasu shouted and shooting the explosive to Youko's direction.

    "Ahhhhhhhh!" Youko yelled in pain.

    "Kurama!"

A rope came out of nowhere tied Youko up and hung him high in the air beyond Hiei's reach.

"Hahahaha, finally Youko Kurama is all mine!" Karasu laughed.

"Let him go, you son of a bitch!" Hiei scolded.

Karasu laughed even more loudly. He was totally insane.

Hiei's right hand bandage began to untie itself. A glimpse of black-purplish fire was formed on his hand. Hiei's jagan was opened wide and even his eyes looked too cruel. Karasu looked at him with disgust.

"Do you think you can defeat me with Kokuryuha? Do you want to see your beloved die in front of you?" Karasu said.

    "Kuso!"

"Hiei! Go away! Leave me, just save yourself!" Kurama cried from the above. He had transformed back into his normal form.

Karasu took Kurama down, pulled him close and caressed his face.

Kurama was still tied with a rope and he was too weak to struggle. Karasu licked on his face purposely to make Hiei angrier. Hiei felt like blasting that bastard's head. Alas, he can't. His Kurama would be in danger. Without anyone's notice, Kurama implanted a deadly seed into Karasu's body. He chuckled to himself.

"What's are you laughing about?" Karasu asked.

"None of your business," Kurama ignored him.

    "Let him go," Hiei commanded.

"That will be the last thing I have in mind," Karasu told.

"Sooner or later you will," Kurama informed.

"Why are you so sure?" Karasu began to feel uneasy.

    "Hahaha," Kurama laugh softly.

"…" Hiei was dumbfounded but he trusted Kurama with his plan.

Karasu moved away from Kurama feeling a little dizzy. Kurama fell onto the floor. Hiei dared not go forward as he wasn't sure if it was some kind of mischief on Kurama's part. Karasu fell onto his knees and yelled. His head hurt so much. The blood in his wounds began to change colour. From red to dark blue, from dark blue to black. His eyes reddened and you coud even see his veins. Hiei finally noticed the situation. Before he could move another step forward ……

    "Not so fast!" Karasu yelled.

"If I die, he will die with me! Hahaha! I won! Hahaha! You'll never have him in your life!" Karasu shouted.

    "Never!!!"

He collapsed onto Kurama and blew up himself. Before that, Hiei looked at his beloved. Those pained eyes. He will never ever forget them in his life. He didn't even had the time to say goodbye….

The explosion was a big one. A sound of something fallinf from a high place was heard. It was his teargem. The teargem automatically returned to Hiei's necklace. Hiei just stood there because he knew there was nothing he could do. A cloud of smoke blocked his vision. He didn't care. His body can be seen now. He had his real body back. But what good is a body without a soul? His eyes were blank. Totally blank. A soft breeze went pass him, making him look cooler and solemn. He just stood there like a statue. No, more like a piece of wood. Suddenly there was a soft cough. This cough attracted Hiei. It was louder now. He saw an unidentified object walking out of the mist of smoke. The first thing he saw were the golden eyes. Then only those furry tail caught his eyes.

    "Kurama……" He said uncertainly.

    "…koff…..koff, koff…"

    His hands stretched out wide.

    "Hiei….." Youko whispered weakly.

Hiei went to help him who was nearly collapsing onto the floor.

Hiei let the body lie down on his laps. "Kurama, how….how did you survived that?" Hiei asked curiously.

"Karasu made me remembered the last time we fought. It was much like the same situation. Koff….his last words let me remembered everything…." He answered the question. Hiei didn't care anyway. A tiny piece of teargem formed on Hiei's face and Kurama took it away.

"Hey, that's mine," Hiei said playfully.

"It's mine now. I'm going to show it to the rest, koff…hahaha," Kurama told.

While they had been happily talking and kissing, another being which haven't been completely destroyed crawl slowly toward their direction.

Just a little bit more……A little bit more……

He used all the energy he had in his body and formed some flying dynamites.

The little explosives fly toward the couple's direction. Hiei being the smart one this time noticed his youki, and quickly stood up.

"Jya Ou En Satsu Kokuryu ha!" he instructed.

The big black purple dragon flew forward and demolished those explosives even before they touched them and then lastly towards the half-dead being.

There was no way he could survive this time.

They went back to their room. Tired like hell, they slept till dawn.

"Kurama, you were very brave yesterday. You saved my life. Thank you," Hiei whispered in his lover's ears.

"You said thank you?" the redhead teased.

    They laugh together.

"Remember your promise?" Hiei asked to the one lying next to him as he curved his mouth.

    "What promise?" he asked plainly.

"Don't tell me you forgotten" Hiei said while his hands started to unbutton his lover's shirt.

"What? Hahaha, you are tickling me!" Kurama asked playfully.

    "This!"

    "You pervert! Stop that!"

    "Aishiteru…"

    "Aishiteru…"
