1948 Pennsylvania Railroad Calendar Original -- "Progressive Power"  (RI)
This is an original 1948 PRR wall calendar featuring a reproduction of a Grif Teller painting titled "Progressive Power" and measuring approx. 29" x 28 5/8" and in good overall condition scoring a 7- on a scale of 1 - 10. This calendar has survived 54+ years thus far! It has only one well preserved calendar pad sheet (NOV - DEC - JAN), and the original broadside is missing (a copy of an original 1948 PRR calendar broadside will be provided). The artwork print area is in excellent condition with no noticeably perceptible imperfections. The tuscan red border is virtually intact with only some barely perceptible creases above the artwork area and a tiny white speck near the lower right margin. The gold border has some blotching, and some expertly repaired tears and voids down the right margin, and expertly repaired thumb tack holes in top margin. All of these imperfections are considered minor and will be barely perceptible, especially after professional framing and hanging over your mantle or on a wall in your den or train room. This particular calendar is in high demand and hard to find in this condition!
