Well, I LOVED watching the Two Towers over and over again! 15 days till Return of the King!

11/21/03: YESSS!!! I got my Special Extended Edition of the Two Towers yesterday in the mail!! Sadly, though, my mother will not let me do anything but sniff the packaging. She claimed that if she let me open it, I would be up all night watching the extras and commentary.
I think she knows me too well
Anyway, happy things! I got my MAG subbie in, but the PSD file was ruined, so I had to send a pathetic little sketch instead. Wah.
I Impressed a Gemini Dragon in my Pern RPing guild Solaris, the rarest Dragon, one of a pair of twins. My female candidate failed to Impress, but at least Quell became Q'el and Impressed Gemini Fortueth!

11/17/03: Again, sorry for the period of silence. I normally update in my Web Mastering class, and we've started a project recently, and I can't update my site at home because of some crazy sign in problems.
But I'm having fun! Yesterday I went to go see "Pirates of the Carribean" again (I never get tired of that movie) and got some beautiful fabric for the elvish cloak I'm planning to make for the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King opening show. I need to scan my MAG submission and start working on it, so I'll be off now. Check deviant art, I'll put up some new art today!

11/11/03: Happy Veteran's Day!
Sorry it's been quiet here, I'm trying to make this interesting for people to read.
I'm at 12K in NaNoWriMo! (dances) That means I'm about 1/5 of the way through my novel, and the action hasn't really even started! This is more fun than I thought it would be.
Working on my MAG subbie, slowly yet surely, among breathlessly anticipating LotR, checking theonering.net every few minutes, finding soundtrack snippets from RotK, dancing like Gollum, making an elvish cloak for the premire...

11/05/03 I'm crazy. I've entered NaNoWriMo, you can find more info at nanowrimo.org. Basically, write 50000 words in one month. Did I mention I signed up four days late?
Well anyway, I've got about 2289 words after one day of writing! My story is about elves. Was it that hard to guess?

11/3/03 Well, this is my new blog! This address was sitting around collecting dust since I mostly update my art portfolio on Deviant Art now instead of on my site, so I figured I'd turn it into something useful!
School's been a hassle, especially English. It's not hard, but I'm reading about four books right now, two for English and the outside reading I do for my own pleasure. I feel punished for my love of literature. > . >
My art is coming very slowly, mostly because I find very little time these days to draw. Between school, school Orchestra, community Orchestra, volunteering at the animal shelter, re-reading "The Lord of the Rings", and online time, I barely have time to breathe. I am sketching again, though, so that should help. I'll scan some of my better sketches later this week!
