1951 Woodcraft Way published; Festival of Britain Camp - Debden

1952  Woodcraft Folk becomes a charity

1957  Children's Parliament at International Camp, Danbury Park

1961  10 countries attend a National Camp at Tenbury Wells

1964  'Natter tents' first appear at International Camp, Down Ampney & first Venturer groups formed & Lockerbrook first leased as outdoor centre

1967  International Camp, Scunthorpe, includes 1,800 children and young people

1970  Camp of Nations, Danbury Park; Green Company written as camp song

1974  Cudham Activities Centre opens in Kent

1975  50th anniversary camp, Stanford Hall, & Folk receives first government grant

1979  International Year of the Child camp, Malvern; 'towns' first appear at camp

1983  One World - Our World camp, Stanford Hall

1984  Strathclyde Project to support new groups in Scotland

1987  Bangor Project to spread development of Gwerin y Coed in North Wales & first National Young Adults Conference for DFs

1988  International Camp, Weston Park; first Saharawi children visit

1993  Hamsterley Forest Centre opens near Durham

1995  Right to a Future International Camp, New Forest

1997  Delegation to Jamaica spurs on sister organisation

1998 'Dancing to a Stronger Beat' strategic plan

1999 ADC becomes Annual Gathering under canvas at Stanford Hall

2000 Woodcraft Folk's 75th Anniversary Year
