Sujata: CwG Book 1 resonated with deep truths that had always found a home in my heart. But what continues to move and inspire me is the most profound promise that we can re-create who we are, and with enough faith, learn to remember and cknowledge our divinity and the inifinite possibilities stemming from that realization. This is nourishment for my very hungry soul. All this is lovingly expressed on pages 86-87 of Book 1. That is the power of CwG: "You are goodness and mercy and compassion and understanding. You are peace and joy and light. You are forgiveness and patience, strength andcourage ..."
Art: That we are in essence pure spirit with a spark of God, using a human body to experience life's challenges so we can continue to evolve is what struck me most ever since I discover "my" truth.
Beth: What struck me most about CWG Book 1 was not really the many mind-blowing concepts that I came across for the first time. Rather it was the tone: conversational, intimate, and unconditionally loving. For the first time, God became real to me. For the first time, I felt unconditionally loved by God. And when it came to the part when He said that God thinks I am the most magnificent being on earth which of course She thinks of everyone else, I wept. For the first time, I heard someone said I was truly magnificent and for the first time, I believed that I am. And that every one is too.
Luwee: What struck me most about
the CWG book is when God said “my will for you is your will”. In the past,
I learned that I should say "not my will but yours (God) be done". When
CWG showed that I am really the captain of my ship then it gave me a tremendous
feeling of freedom but at the same time, it also posed a challenge. CWG
also showed me that freedom and responsibility are inseparable. There are
no punishments but there will always be consequence. This helped me really
"own" the things that happen to me knowing that I am responsible for my
decisions, my reactions and my judgements. It is very empowering.
I hope more children grow up with this guidance - eliminate unnecessary
guilt but espousing a strong feeling of ownership of one's choices and
its consequences.
Nikie: What struck me is the idea that “you don’t have to do anything”. Having a background in business, I always felt the need to “do”, to “achieve”, and it would bother me if I was not “productive”. I believed in how things “should” be. CWG made me feel more at peace and open to the universe. Now I do things because I choose to, not because I have to (which for me, is empowerment) and I realize its only us imposing the “shoulds”.
Paul: Biological Science affirms the oneness of creation, for instance the basic bldg. block of a tree is no different from a human being. This realization now restrains me from making judgements & condemnation & made it easier for me to forgive
Sonny: CWG books and the author NDW, aside from the many books of such nature, is part of the great process of Atonement. There is always a time for eveything under the sun. I may not notice the beauty of creation in a caterpillar as it surrenders to become a buterfly. So does too that I may not notice other forms with regards to self-realization, but I will have to take the process for me to reach that eternal joy ever longing for home. What Neale shared with us in the CWG is within us all and what strikes me would be its simplicity of using words for easy comprehension. The truth may have many faces but it can only mean one thing to be One with All that there is.
