About us...

How good and pleasant it is when brothers and sisters live together in unity! It is like precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows His blessing, even life for evermore…Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord. Psalm 133-134

The main aim of the student ministry at Highfield is to equip people in their spiritual lives to go out into the world to serve God and other people. We hope that students will grow in their relationship with God during their time with us and that many who do not know Jesus, will meet with Him and move on in their journey. A more detailed description of what we believe may be found here.

We encourage students to get involved in small groups, wherever possible, through Christian Union, University Chaplaincy or a church homegroup, where they can have accountable friendships, study God’s word and pray for each other. There are also many opportunities to serve, both within the church and on various social action projects in Southampton. We believe that it is both exciting and important in our lives as Christians to make the most of opportunities to serve others and reach people with the good news of the gospel through love and commitment.
