A view of the house. As you can plainly see here, the weather was somewhat overcast for much of the day.
The main entrance of the house,
with me standing out in front, which was taken a few minutes before we
boarded the bus back to town.
A view of the stables, which houses the tea room, the gift shop and the exhibit, "Diana: a Celebration". I like this particular shot because of the heather.
One of the entrances to the courtyard of the stables. As you see in this picture and the one that follows, I was attracted to the wildflowers growing around this building.
Portion of a wall of the stables.
Earl Spencer spends a couple of hours each morning and afternoon at the gift shop autographing copies of his books. This picture was taken a few minutes after he autographed my copy of his funeral oration for Princess Diana.
