Incubator,

flip-backdoor open
showing egg tray racks
and plastic water tray.
This system can hold up
to at least 800 eggs.

Here showing the
full back. The lights to
the left were positioned
to serve also as 24hr-old
brooders. I let the
chicks stay within this
enclosure for 24hours
before transferring them
to an external brooder
(which is basically an
old discarded carton milk
box!).
Light bulbs are quite
practical for use in
incubators for it's
relatively inexpensive
and maintenance ease.
I used here 4 x 100Watt
bulbs (shown here with 2)
This is a forced draft
incubator.
