Hi all!

 BIG CHANGE! Our home swim meet begin s  at 8 AM!!! Please note this change. Be ready for the first shift of recorders, timers, and desk people at 7:45 AM!!!  Set-up people and snack bar staff should be at Highlands by 6:15 AM  

Please see the attachment for the volunteer positions you have signed up for this weekend's meet.   We will have volunteer labels for these positions at the meet, so please check in with Sharon or Ann during warm-ups.

If you are a timer, recorder, or runner for the 1st half of the meet, please be ready to go at 7:45 AM!.   If you are doing the 2nd half of the meet in any of these jobs, please be ready by the end of backstroke.   We like to start  our meets on time and have a very short (2 minute) break between halves.  In order to do this, we need timers, runner, & recorders to be ready to go.

It’s that time again! The Highlands Swim Team Board wishes to welcome you to another swim season. We will be on-hand on the above dates to enroll each swimmer and family into the program. Plan on coming to one of the sign-up sessions to be fitted for a swimsuit, pay registration fees and submit application and emergency forms.

The fees:

¨      Highlands Swim Club members: $210.00 plus swimsuit

 

¨      Non-Highlands Swim Club members: $295.00* plus swimsuit (*subject to change)

 

¨      Boy’s Jammer $35 Boys Racer $25 Girl’s suit $50.00

 

The swimsuit design is new –all swimmers required to have team suit – it is a 2-year suit.

 

Some Notes:

¨      Parent Night will be Wed., April 26th, at 7:00 PM at Chadbourne School (one parent is required to attend)

¨      At the Parent Night, all parents must sign-up for work shifts:

4 regular shifts (approx. 2 hrs.) per swimmer

1 secondary job per swimmer

This must be completed before your child enters the water!

 

¨      Frank Gygax & Nels Larsen will be back to coach the swimmers.

 

¨      Practice begins Mon., 5/1, First meet 6/3, No Meet on 7/1.

 

¨      Photos Monday, 5/22, individuals begin 6 pm, team 6:30 sharp

 

¨      The championships are on Saturday, July 29th

When you come to the signups, please bring both completed forms and 1 copy of the swimmer’s birth certificate, (new swimmer’s only.) We need one emergency form for EACH swimmer.
