The average commuter will spend up to £100 each week just getting to work and back. A lorry-load of goods going from London to Scotland will pay nearly £1000 extra in taxes per return journey. This will cause massive inflationary wage demands and basic foodstuff costs will spiral out of control. We are told that Transport Groups welcome this news, can we really believe that ? What will it cost to install and monitor, and will that eat up most of the revenue collected ? The proposed date for all this ? 2014 at the earliest..... hmmmm.
