Well here is my story of Lauren!! My pregnancies was uneventful wasn't ever sick nothing it was great! Well I went into labor and after 17 hours of labor and 3.5 hours of pushing I was finally taken in for a c-section!

Well at 11 days old Lauren had a fever of 102 and we where advised to go to the ER right away for that was considered a medical emergency, when we arrived at the ER everyone was waiting or arrival and we where taking right in and had all these test done on our little baby! Well they couldn't find anything "really" wrong with her but we had to stay in the hospital for 3 days it was terrible!

Then at her 2 week appointment that following Friday we walked into the doctors room and Lauren decided to poop well it's a good thing because when the doctor took off her diaper it had blood in her poop...I was so nervous! So after three days of this and having her poop tested and nothing came back abnormal we had to change her formula to Alimentum (sp) which is so expensive and she was on that till 11 months old, she couldn't take soy either!

Well after all of this around 4 weeks or so she started to scream and cry all day long and all night and all that would halfway calm her was me and that was it no one else had that special "touch" and it was terrible! So everynight when my husband came home from work we would go for a ride and did these for about 2 months straight! She would scream and cry unless we where driving!

At around 4 months this all seemed to end and she was more content but still a very high needs infant and still only wanted me and not anyone else this lasted till around 9 months when she would finally tolerate Daddy! She did sleep through the night at 11 weeks however she never really napped more than 20 minutes till around 9 months! Well also at 9 months I put her in daycare twice a week in hopes that she would get use to other people...well she got use to the caregiver and beside her still didn't want anyone else!

Her brother was born when she was 16 months old and that wasn't too bad but it had it's moments because all she did was whine! But now at 2.5 years old she does better with other people and I'm able to have sitters now so that is nice for my husband and I! So that is my story I hope I didn't miss anything and I hope I told enough!

Take care,

Corinna
