The National Baseball Hall of Fame site. Take a virtual tour, view the galleries, hear classic sound clips and more. |
Shoeless Joe Jackson's unofficial Hall of Fame page. A personal page, but someone did an excellent job. Great articles, photos, links and more on my favorite ball player. "Say it ain't so, Joe..." |
The Baseball Archive. The best site on the net for researching player and team statistics. View them on-line or download the entire package in an Excel spreadsheet. |
The Baseball Almanac on-line. Find more baseball related history, quotations, statistics, legends and humor than you ever imagined. Easy to use menus and something unique that I'm not quite sure what to make of: virtual autographs. Check it out. |
The history of the Negro Leagues. Player profiles, team histories, legends, photos...heck, everything you could want about players and teams such as Cool Papa Bell, Josh Gibson, Judy Johnson, the Brown Tennessee Rats and more. Also, links to more great sites. |
Ballparks by Munsey and Suppes. A retail photographic site, but they have a phenomenal menu system with photographs and histories of old ballparks. |
ESPN Classic channel site. Mostly nice to see what the upcoming programming menu is, but there are forums and other features that make it worth checking out. |
The home of SABR, the Society for American Baseball Research. For some reason the link is not working, but you can search the SABR category on the net and find plenty of local chapters. |
Diamond Legends, by Fox Sports and Stats Inc. A fantasy/replay game allows you to draft a team of all-time greats using a salary cap. Pay-to-join league that looks like it might be intriguing. |
Pretty self-explanatory. Baseball History dot com. If you can't find it here, you can't find it anywhere. Great links and a cool This Day In Baseball History feature. |
Part of the Total Sports network. Contains everything from baseball history to current rosters, drafts, college, high school, you name it. And if that isn't enough, link to totalsports.net for any other sport you can think of. If you can only have 1 sports site, this would be it. |

The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, located in St.Louis, Missouri. Great general research and links for researching the Negro Leagues. |
